My nickname was coined long before Olav and his atmospheric dolphin thing.Maybe I should trade mark it. It just happens that my first jumpsuit (RW of course) had dolphins on it. R

I found a few references to things similar to this on the Urban Legends page. Not the exact same wording but close enough that it makes me doubt it's authenticity. The story of the girl with prostitute on her was there almost word for word. Rhonda

There is not a human being alive that could possibly be more full of themselves. (Ok that might be a slight exageration) And before anyone asks, yes I have met him personally on many occasions.

I didn't have my baby when he was a baby so I don't have any baby pictures but anyway, here's my baby now. Rhonda -
I got it too but was immediately suspicious so went looking for a post about it first. Rhonda

Has anyone seen the new TV promo for Tomb Raider? They are talking about the stunts and how great they are and one line goes. "Watch people actually fly like a bird!" and it was said in that breathy really intense tone of voice that TV announcers use. Refering to the BASE / Birdman stunt of course. Rhonda

I found this in a local Seattle paper and thought it was cute. The mystery of the hanging tennis shoes The skydiving reference comes in at the end. It made me laugh. Rhonda

Actually I still have screws in my ankle but I had the rod removed from my femur a couple years ago. I couldn't stand the constant pain in the winter from the cold. It's much better now. Rhonda

Yes two in one weekend. Both tandems. One the Tandem master died and the other one the passenger died. I had just gotten off student status and the tandem master on the second one (fully recovered from massive injuries and resumed jumping) had been my AFF instructor. I didn't jump for weeks after that, until he came to the DZ and wanted to know why I hadn't jumped. Rhonda

Thanks for the links. I will have to put links to those articles on the website. I remember when they were written but didn't know they were still floating around out there. I have put together a page on the site that has a bunch of articles from magazines all over the world. Rhonda Flyboyz.com

My 11 year old daughter has been going to the DZ regularly since she was 4. She loves the DZ and is very good at helping with the younger kids when their parents are in the air. She explains DZ behavior to new kids on the block and I often see her running after kids that have gone too close to the landing area or the runway. She was not with me the weekend I broke my femur but I truly wish she had been. I was in CA (Elsinore) and was she at home in Seattle. She was way more freaked out than I think she would have been if she had been there and not 1,500 miles away. She witnessed a tandem fatality a few years ago and that was hard but we helped her through it by talking a lot about death and the sport. I think the hardest part of that experience for her was the presence of the news crews that were hanging around. Rhonda

My husband and I did something different on every letter of Skydive Perris on 4th July 2000. Diane Conatser told us to. However, I don't think she thought we would really do it. -
The first major thing I"m going to do (after paying bills) is buy a horse. Rhonda

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a pet. They really are members of the family and often best friends. At least you were with him and that's important. Rhonda

Hey Lori, Sorry to hear about your baby. I love my Mazda but it may be a bit big for what you are looking for. It's an SUV (family car don't you know). But if I were going to get a smaller car I would look at the Toyota Hybrids; they are really cool, the new Beetle convertibles, or a Mini. I'm surprised there aren't more accidents on that road. I've had several near misses near the road that comes out by the ghetto and coming out of Ethanac. I just started working again so hopefully I will be able to come down that way again soon. I hope I hope I hope. C'Ya Rhonda

Someone always wants a beer or two or three in this crowd. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I've been known to drink a few of the frosty beverages myself from time to time. Rhonda

I don't think the ones in bottles are carbonated. There is a difference though. We bought a bunch of it a long time ago and it was not as good as I remember. Probably still have some turning to science experiments in the fridge somewhere. Rhonda
