Can you name a time when members of Congress have en masse suited up and gone to war? Yeah, I couldn't either.... __________________________________________________ Kind of telling.., isn't it? If you support the war and vote to declare war, at least join the soldiers on the frontlines or send your own kids in your place. At $65 per ton it wouldn't make sense to haul ice that far, especially considering Americolds' numerous storage facilities which are much closer. Hmmm. It's been about 4 years since the anthrax attacks in the US and still the case is unsolved. The strain of anthrax used in the mailings was developed by the US department of defense and kept by that department under lock and key. It was sent to journalists and congressmen as the US war machine cranked up. At about the same time journalists and most major media personelle began to refrain from making any dissenting remarks concerning the Bush administrations' foreign and domestic policies. Congress passed "The Patriot Act". Now who could have gotten into that vault and mailed that anthrax? Could it be Al-Queida? Betsy

are you implying our government is deliberatly torturing innocent folk for propaganda? __________________________________________________ For the first year or so of the war ,during the hunt for WMDs, people were tortured in order to gain information as to the whereabouts of Saddams stockpiles. We now know that W and the penquin made up the lie of WMDs and that there were none at the time of invasion . Innocent people were being tortured in an attempt to gain information which they couldn't possibly have. Betsy
