But what is the largest formation done with members from just one skydiving club? Any figures on that? In my club we have done a 23-way as biggest member jump - our naked was only 21-way (believe this to be the current worldrecord in naked formation skydiving)... Info highly appreciated. Hi Kim, Yes, I like to use this forum to try to get answers on questions that sometimes I hear rumours about.. Like the one now with Vigil and misfires. It is funny though, to see how a thread suddenly change from AAD, to questions reg. new inventions of skydiving gear/accessories. As the Skydiving magazine takes about two months to reach Sweden and I have heard that in the last Issue- Feb (I just received Nov issue) had been something about that of the 20 units recently delivered already 4 had missfired in one way or another. Last Saturday I jumped out of an Islander at 3500 M with a temp. of - 15 degrees Celcius...and frost on the ground...BUT, It was at Lidköping (where the Hercules Boogie takes place) and it looked beautiful in its stillness underneath my feet... Thats a good option... Ryan fly from Stansted (London) to Gothenburg City airport (our home DZ) as well from Frankfurt-Hahn (Germany) to fairly cheap prices. If many uses this airport and tell us in advance, we will look in to arranging a cheap group transfer to Lidköping (approx 130 km away from Gothenburg). GOT - Gothenburg airport is the nearest one, only 120 km from Lidköping-Hovby. SAS from London to GOT (Gothenburg) costs approx 250 USD on mrjet.com But I think thats a good tip - fly via London or Denmark (CPH) to Gothenburg for the cheapest fares.. Why do you wanna do a 4-way from a C130??? 600+ FF - A lot of people who are jumping FF are doing at least 250 - 300 in one season and learn a lot. But since we are talking about 8 way exits, we feel after talks to outstanding FF people, that a 600+ limit for FF is appropiate to be safe and to be able to offer the skills to the LO's for safe big ways in FF.... The Hercules Boogie has a tradition to be every second year...But since this is organized on totally voluntarily/non commercial basis from members of Gothenburg Parachute club, you can never be sure that it will be done again. But our aim is to have it continuous every 2nd year...Depends how long we have the stamina to work approx 18-20 months to pull this off... Hope to C ya there...
