My father left this earth almost six years ago. He taught me many, many things. I was the apple of his eye and he never hid that fact from anyone. When it became evident that he was ill and not going to get better, we spent a great deal of time together just talking about his life. I will treasure that year forever. My dad was the greatest!! His final breath was taken in my arms, and we were OK. Before I exit the plane, I always ask him to hold me in his hands until I am safely on the ground. I believe he does

I dropped Marie and kept the last name, Rae, as a middle name when my last name changed. I was actually called DonnaMarie most of my life, so I kind of miss it.

In Georgia, Macon is considered the "Gnat" line. If you live above Macon you are not bothered by them. Well, I happen to live below Macon, and trust me, the Gnats that are bothering you are simply on their way to SW Georgia. They will all arrive in time for Camilla's "Gnat Days" festival..would you believe they sell gnat jelly?? gnat muffins?? gnat burgers?? They're just horrible little things!!

I am a dog lover and live in the country. I believe everyone in the surrounding area knows that. Dogs wander up the driveway and the next thing I know it is a week later and I am paying the bill for getting them fixed! Right now I have Katie, Murphy, Pete, Buddy, Belle, and Stogie.
