When you're sitting on the commercial plane on the way home from a skydiving holiday and you suddenly giggle to yourself because you just realised that out of all the people on the plane, (the pilot and co-pilot) included, you're probably the only person who truly knows what it physically feels like to fly through a cloud. Hey there. Just thought that I'd let you know, you made the right choice with picking FFU in spain. I was there in November and it was absolutely fantastic. The guys on the DZ there are excellent. I enjoyed it so much that I am now moving there on the 28th of Dec. So be aware, it really is seriously addictive. Whatever you do, don't forget to have fun (and pull)

Hey mate, congrats on passing your aff. I just completed mine at the Freefall University in Ocana. I'll probably be using either St Andrews or Strathallan. If you want to meet up for a few jumps just give me a shout.

Once I clear the aircraft, I turn into a bag of laundry in freefall for the first 10 secs until the air catches me at terminal and my arch starts to work with the wind. I reckon it's one of the most fun part of all my dives :-)

Hey Drool baby, how right your post is :-). I had such a great time there doing my AFF (completed 21 jumps in total). It was so much fun I've already decided to sell up here and move out there in Jan-Feb next year. I just hope the powers that be don't ever find out about skydiving. They'll either tax it or make it illegal :-). 21 jumps and so many creamed in landings down the line and I still crap myself everytime. I love it :-)

Hey Steve, if you are also considering spain, I can fully reccomend The Freefall University in Ocana, Madrid. I only just finished my AFF there and over the two weeks I was there I completed 21 jumps. The team there are absolutely fantastic and I spent most of my two weeks in absolute stiches of laughter.

Just finished my AFF in Ocana and I can positively reccomend it. Save for the odd day, the weather for jumping was fantastic. The incredibly relaxed and informal attitude of the instructors and all other staff create an amazingly relaxed atmosphere which is instantly enjoyable. By the end of the first day, you feel as though you've known everyone there for years. The experience and professionalism of all the instructors and staff here is instantly recognisable but never intimidating, you're never made to feel like a dickhead newbie. The first jump terrified the shit out of me as did the last jump. The difference is that whilst being equally terrified, by the last 10 jumps I was jumping out with a smile on my face (and somtimes laughing my head off). This place and the people there are bloody great.

Hey all, well I'm from Glasgow in Scotland, so I'll be flying out from Glasgow via London to Madrid. I haven't jumped before, but I've always wanted to do this. Now I have the time and resources available there is nothing to stop me. I'm going for the full two weeks so I should (hopefully) be able to get through the course and have plenty of time to get in all my consol jumps and a few just for fun. Well, that's me just about to jet off to the freefall university in Madrid for the AFF course. Having looked through the forums here I am now not only really looking forward to getting into sky diving but also looking forward to meeting loads of great people. I really really really can't wait :-)
