This is a good thing. It seems all is working out fine. I hope yall all enjoy the tent. I will drop by from time to time and check out the party. I think this will be great. I will put both internet address on the sign and Embasy of the united drunkin nations. To top that off if there are so many people that this tent isn't big enough I will rent a second tent to make up for the confusion. I would like you to email me a phone number so I can give yall a call (you and bigway) just to say hello and make sure that all the bases are covered. I think a place the UK and the US can mix under the same roof will be a good thing. As for the drinking well my family is kind of slow and we don't drink much but what we do drink we make our selves you know being from the south and all so I will bring a couple of gallons of shine with me and we can all sit down and drink a while. No beer, No wine, just good old clear corn whiskey. You maybe able to skydive circles around me but you better do it the first day. Lear Jet? No.... DC 9... if you go to Perris Valleys CA web site, (I think that it was listed earlier in this thread) they are saying that the DC9 will be there and will be jumpable. I know that Ben And Pat are working hand in hand with the FAA and I see no reason not to belive them. Both are very honest and honerable men. I am not an organizer and I'm sorry you feel the way you do. I enjoy seeing the WFFC come each year and I think it is a great boogie. I have been going for 10 years and made my first skydive there. I am not paid one red cent by the convention but I do want to see it be successful. I use what little influince I have to prmote the convention but mostly I'm out for the skydivers. As for why I have not been back on...my computer took a dump as a matter of fact I am on someone elses currently. As for the tent I want to give it to the international group and the roaming DZ together. I have no idea how many people that are connected to those groups or have regestered or will nor do I care. That is not what this was about. I need some one to email me from both groups that is in-charge or the spokes person so I can call you and get the info you want on your banner that will be on the tent and figure out where you would like it. I appreciate the positive responce as well as the negative. But don't be so quick to judge and the WFFC had nothing to do with my responce time so don't hold anything against the boogie this was my doings not theirs they just oked me a free tent. To me that is what the WFFC is all about. Jumping aircraft that you can't go jump very often if at all any where else. Seeing old friends and getting to do unique things. As for 10k on altitude if it is that slow and most people will only jump it once or twice then why not jump at 5 or 6k. But ya to put it in the log book that is the only reason I would want the jump. I have been able to talk the convention into letting me give away a couple of the tents on DZ row to groups of skydivers that bring their entire DZ (or just about) to the WFFC. I don't know what will be a fair way to do this so I want to hear your ideas. Sorry but this will not be for the groups that already have there yearly spots saved but for a couple of new groups.
