  1. Stoop? Are you kidding me? This is "par" Really? How about producing five examples of similarly trumped up nonsense use to attack a private citizen?
  2. His entire Administration? They're all doing quite nicely? Where do you get this stuff? I'm pretty sure many Administration members have their assets in blind trusts. How do you know how they all are doing? Got a link?
  3. Do you have proof that our government intentionally sent the people of the Marshall Islands and Bikinis back home so we could study the longterm effects of radiation?
  4. 80% of House Republicans voted against it. "a lot" is so subjective. What are you talking about? It sounds like so much doublespeak. Perhaps you just didn't understand what I was say. There's no need to get pissy just because you don't get it. So naive. Where'd you get "he pissed a large part of the population and military personnel"? Got a cite?]
  5. I simply provided data with no value judgment attached. Conclude whatever you will. No need to be nasty about it. You provided data about people who were happy with his job performance. I doubt everyone who didn't answer yes is mad at him.
  6. Some might even call it a myth.
  7. Yep. No problem with Rush getting a taste of what he dishes out. So, you're okay with the United States Senate stooping to his level?
  8. Yeah. You've made it pretty clear that you feel any attacks on Rush, no matter how low-brow or dishonest, are completely justified. Face it, this little exercise righteous indignation by leading Democrats has completely blown up in their faces. And Rush's claim of media bias is playing out as if it were scripted. Sorry this little drama isn't playing out as you hoped.
  9. I haven't heard much in the media about Iraq in the last few weeks. This is from a recent Pentagon press briefing:
  10. If you're trying to negotiate from a position of strength, is it smart to take your trump card off the table?
  11. Please elaborate. Thank you, I think you just made my point. You assume so much.
  12. "Q Sir, when you talk about Iran, and you talk about how you have diplomatic efforts, you also say all options are on the table. Does that include the possibility of a nuclear strike? Is that something that your administration will plan for? THE PRESIDENT: All options are on the table. We want to solve this issue diplomatically and we're working hard to do so. The best way to do so is, therefore, to be a united effort with countries who recognize the danger of Iran having a nuclear weapon. And that's why we're working very closely with countries like France and Germany and Great Britain. I intend, of course, to bring the subject of Iranian ambitions to have a nuclear weapon with Hu Jintao this Thursday. And we'll continue to work diplomatically to get this problem solved......" http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2006/04/20060418-1.html Fixed it for you. Have you ever played poker?
  13. Love the cherry picking, Chief Over the last 15 years: Burglary is down 42% Violent Crime is down 37% Murder is down 38% Robbery is down 45% Considering just about every crime rate is now significantly lower than the period used for your 300,000 guns stolen/yr. claim, do you really think it's intellectually honest to claim that figure is accurate for the present?
  14. Harry Reid: "I know how we can fix that Rush Limbaugh. Let's throw him in the briar patch."
  15. This whole thing is stupid. The Dems passed a version of the bill that they knew Bush would veto!!! They did it so they could grandstand. Pete Stark is clearly lowering the level of discourse He's a real scumbag. This comes on the heels of the Harry Reid et al fake controversy about Rush Limbaugh. And Congressional approval is at historic lows. The Democratic leadership isn't demonstrating much leadership.
  16. Dr. John Kallend, What's your ecological footprint? Dude, you can get banned for questioning Dr. Kallend But I want to know if he's as green as the Goracle.
  17. How nice. I ask you for supporting information - you (essentially) tell me to fuck off - and instead of asking me for supporting information, you accuse me of being a liar. Then again, we've seen your lies. Here's my source: http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/glance/tables/viortrdtab.htm This whole exchange has a familiar ring. You use outdated information, from when most (if not all) crime levels were significantly higher than current levels, to support your position. Then you have choice phrases like "crime is on its way up again", conveniently sidestepping the fact that the Violent Crime rate dropped every consecutive year from 1991 to 2004. The murder rate dropped every consecutive year from 1993 to 2000. The 2004 rate was the same as 2000. Overall, the crime situation in this country is dramatically better than just about any year in the 80s or 90s. Saying "crime is on its way up again" is kind of like saying "gas prices are on their way down again" because pump prices dropped from $3.15 to $3.12. Technically you may be right, but that doesn't change the fact that it's quite misleading.
  18. Rush, I've never claimed to be polite, certainly not to NCclimber. In fact, I believe I have, in the past, explicitly stated that I don't feel any need at all to be polite It's funny. Some people act like complete assholes on a regular basis and then turn into crybabies when others don't play nice.
  19. Irony score 10/10 Same with you. What's your ecological footprint?
