    ye i have found some PC's do want a docking station but it's no big deal to use for swopping footage, not shore at what model point the docking stations came in but the PC8,9,101 i know do not have one . YeHaaaaaaaaaaa

    competition skydiving is where it starts to cost a serious amount of cash, even at rookie level . with the introduction of more wind tunnels skill levels are shooting up but so is the cost of keeping up with progression . my kit was not cheep but i think it was worth every penny, ye of course i would of liked it to have cost less but that's the same with everything. when i look at what i have spent in the 3 years in the sport, it's a big lump, but against what i have got out of it, it's been worth it . i have achieved goals i am happy about but i also know I'm still at the beginning of the ride . i think it all depends what you want out of it . keep on keepin on

    i seem to be getting the impression that the PC range of camcorders are preferred for skydiving , well over here in the UK that is . I'm being told there more robust than the HC range and have the good old DV in and out so ya can all swop your footage without any messing about . Any opinions out there as i am getting my info from only one DZ and this is the well of knowledge .. YeHaaaaaaaaaaa

    I WAS ADVISED TO MOVE INTO THIS FORUM TO GET SOME INFO ON A ' JONATHAN PARACHUTE ' MADE BY AIRTIME IN 1990 , I THINK IT IS A 135 AND HAS ONLY MENT TO HAVE DONE 10 JUMPS I know that a 135 is not for me at this moment i'm happy with what i am flying but can anyone fill me in about this canopy ? FREEFLY PROGRESS ... click me I'm just learning to do a bit of editing , i used adobe premiere elements 2.0 . i'm after some advice to , i used the save to dvd option in the above program but when i played it from a dvd on my tv the quality was not very good i know the file on youtube is not that good either and that was as a mpeg 2 file , haw do i improve the quality of my uploads to youtube and my dvd burns ?     Advice if possible please I just got hold of a sony PC8 camcorder and being new to this area i'm puzzled i want to conect my camcorder to my computer to edit video. i've got windowsxp and the editing program i have is adobe premiere elemnts 2.0 im thinking i may have a cable missing to conect the two, What do i use to conect to my computer , am i right in thinking a cable with a USB one end (goes into computer) and a DV the other (goes into camcorder) ?????     to put it short.. my rig has had a cut away and the reserve re-packed . when i checked the reserve pin i noticed a small kink or slight bend in the reserve cable . so not knowing what it was i asked a rigger . and got the reply. ' ye its ok , it's where the rsl pulled your reserve ' anyone want to add to that ???? YeHaaaaaaaaaaa

    I've not been in the sport that long , and only resently got my fs1 . now starteddoing a bit of sit flying and from what ever angle i look at ya question i would so the better flat flyer you are the more you will get out of free flying and visa versa . besides that its good to know that if it goes pair shaped i have a good chance of taking care of things because i can flat fly . YeHaaaaaaaaaaa
