  1. just when you thought you forgot most things
  2. I thought I would break this one out. Remember this one? Brian
  3. Yes I think your right it was Ed's rig and Bruce did deploy her reserve. She was sitting in the seat at the end of the Otter and was asked if she wanted to get her S.C.R. award and explained the diver to her as a joke, but she didn't take is as one. During the exit she took off her set belt as people were just leaving and held on to Bruce as he left. Bruce thought just that someone was holding on for the ride, but the ride was a little to long. Now Bruce looked to see who it was screwing with him and then when he saw her, he thought F!@#K. He got her in a two way and was pointing to her handle to pull and that didn't work so he ended up pulling for her and she landed on the west end of 99. It was some guy named Mark and not Mark Smith, but he picked her up hitch hiking on he way to Costerison's that day. So after she got back to the farm John DeSantis kicked her ass off right then. So don't loan your gear
  4. Yes, I do remember those days long gone and I do have to say it was one of the best times for me in the sport and I also learned alot (drinking and being cought by uncle JOHN D. while talking to his doughter). Growing up on the Taft D.Z and the loss of some good friends, well not sure were to go I called up Bill Newell and at the time he had some jumping going on at Costerison's and what a time. Some of you might remember when Bruce (not sure of last name) and the observer went out of the otter and she held on to Bruce on the exit, Bruce then reached over his shoulder and dumped her round reserve. It was like yesterday when you hear Philly tell the story. It would be fun to find a ranch like this again, but we would have to dig up alot of friends to have that good of a time again. 5. Paso, Yes I remember some of those days and nights...kinda. I had some pictures I brought out to a first time jump class that were with a 70lb pumpkin that we put out at Cal City and the pictures showed the pumpkin going in. Just as I got to the last picture Al walked up because the crowed was growing and he wanted to see what the hoop law was and lets just say he was not a happy, but it was funny to see the look on his face. And the stories go on as we all know. Blues Skies With Hook Knives Brian Fairhurst
  6. I thought that the time was an error as I know that dogs don't sleep in when the master is watching. Wish I was there like the rest that aren't. Blues Skies & Safety First Brian
