    I'm in your weight range, and was adviced to get a 135 sqr ft main by my instructors just to get to 1:1.1 wingload, that's supposedly very important to have to get decent penetration and flare. It turned out I didn't want all that speed. ----------------------------------------------------- Any canopy that is below 150 is considerd high performance reguarless of wing loading.

    I agree with you i have two new rigs that snugly fit a sabre 170 but will hold a 150 and some 135s. So i have room to gro with current rigs. (all brand new) Less chances for anything to go wrong but cant blame anybody for buying used (good) gear.

    Please, please, please man dont think like a drunk driver. They never think about they man they could kill, that has a wife and three kids at home( that solely depend on him for an income/life.) By the way i am that guy with a wife and three kid that depend on me. you will never forgive yourself if you kill that type of man or any other human. Brother please take the offer and keep our skys safer. You have all your life to become a canopy pilot. Dont increase your chances of taking someones life from them.
