Trump of course, is being fast tracked through the felony votings rights process in Florida by Ron Desantis so that he will be able to vote unlike the millions of other felons that should be able to vote but are in limbo due to the vague and impossible rules the state imposed after the people voted to restore felony voting rights but when did Florida care about their own constitution? Watch what Florida does to subvert legalized weed and abortion rights when they get passed as amendments this fall… they will subvert it with rules and refs that make it impossible once again

word salad..... you are saying nothing specific while still using 'disastrous' as your baseline, but you cannot point to any specific data, or scenario that could come to pass.... In the meantime, I am going fishing, I might even open a bottle of wine. In other words, nothing disastrous, just a normal day.... like I expect yours is.

you keep using the word 'disastrous' without providing anything to support such strong language. fer fuck's sake, GWB took us into two wars based on fucking lies, killed a million civilians and thousands of americans in those wars, which went on for 20+ years and cost us well over $10T. you survived that and you and the country are still here, functioning. I am pretty sure that your morning this morning was the same pretty much as every morning you have had in the past 3 decades. cry wolf..... if our choices today are 'disastrous', then I expect and ask for some examples that are at least on par with the war crimes of GWB.....

agreed, fair enough. But I do not think that is corruption, that is just plain dysfunctional and can only be fixed by writing better laws and implementing better policy. Sadly, those that are the criminals are often in the position to do this, so they have no incentive. I am not sure there was any time in the history of mankind where the wealthy and powerful did not enjoy greater privilege than others. Of course, that is not a reason to pursue the utopia....

No it isn't..... broad statements like that offer absolutely NOTHING to the conversation and only offer vague rhetorical division designed to do nothing but continue the conspiracy theories that already exist there is no perfect justice system but stating that it is corrupt is simply denying any reality that exists in the world today. The system works most of the time. Prisons are FILLED with convicted criminals. It takes too long in some cases, and it offers rights to the rich that no one else can afford. That is not corruption, it may very well be dysfunctional. Any system that exists has room for improvement. I am sure when the guy that rapes your daughter gets 20-25 years in prison, that you would not be clamoring for the dysfunctional and corrupt system that put that person away. But electing the criminals does nothing to address either of your concerns.

sometimes, in a country of laws, the laws actually works and wins. Largely why Trump is a convicted felon, a rapist, a fraudman, and a crook..... But the GOP is still upset about all the rampant crime around the country..... supposedly.

certainly whatever justification there was in the 1700's for an electoral college needs to be re-examined. Just like the 27 're-examinations' of the Constitution that have taken place already. But hey, when was the last time we had representative government for the people?
