  1. You are still NOT making a case. There is no case. He is innocent until proven guilty. period. It's in the constitution. And its in the facts as they stand today. Provide me with something that resembles a fact or evidence and I will change my tune. You and B-D have done nothing but evade the questions, answer questions with questions, call out names, and so on. You want to have an intelligent debate? It requires intelligence. If you do not have a shred of evidence - then too bad. I am not happy that OJ got away with murder. But the fact is that he did. Within the system that we have, he was found NOT GUILTY. that is a bug in the system yes, but it does not justify going after the next guy (Assange) with rumors and hoping to make him look bad with trumped up charges. Sorry that you do not like the way the system works that you so staunchly uphold. If you do not like it, I suggest you get elected and change it. Until then, and until you prove to me otherwise, (yes the burden of proof is actually on the accuser), he stands as a representative of political freedom, freedom of speech and an ombudsman who holds government accountable for their actions. Sounds good to me.
  2. ahh answer the question with a question - great way to evade the issues. Surely that will stand up in court. Maybe the US Govt could call you as an expert witness when they bring him to trial - "the definition of espionage' surely will put the nail in the coffin....
  3. um, where has the US requested an extradition for Assange for 'national security threats? now you are making it up as you go along - nice try again. Sorry dude, but you are way better than this. His extradition hearings have to do with Sweden, NOT the USA. The US has made no such request to face any such charges. He has no charges against him in the US, just accusations from witch hunters like you, with vague charges, and vague accusations of wrong-doing. Perhaps you could try to divide the US national security threats from the Swedish allegations - if you are capable of doing that.
  4. I beg to differ - that is an opinion, not a statement of fact. It does not even remotely come close to 'evidence' try again, if you can. Is that all you really have? Wow.
  5. You get to do name-calling, but it does not make your case. Show me ONCE INSTANCE. ANY one instance, anything, ANYTHING AT ALL, that demonstrates damage to ANY American, institution, soldier or otherwise....by the actions of Wikileaks.. go ahead, make my day I'm still waiting.
  6. Ah, "the kind of philistine pig-ignorance I have come to expect from non-creative garbage" Name calling, false claims without proof - you guys are all real stand-up folks for the Constitution. way to go. I would expect nothing less. Anyway, my claims of freedoms stand up. Your (all of you) claims of wrong-doing STILL TO THIS DAY AND THIS POST, have absolutely no basis.
  7. and for the 100th time, the country has a constitution that DEMANDS innocence until proven guilty. You are making claims of guilt without any proof. You have made numerous false claims without a shred of evidence and the type of persecution that you are advocating is something out of the dark ages. so grow up.
  8. They help to expose government corruption and back-room dealing in some cases. In the vast majority of cases, the leaks proved or disproved absolutely NOTHING. Hence these is CERTAINLY no case for 'treason' or other crimes. Hey you made the claim of damage and crimes against the country. I am simply asking you to show it. If you cannot, then I win. that simple. Now YOU made a direct claim that the US had to recall agents because their identities were compromised. Your turn, show us where that happened. This has been my case all along. Show me ONE case where something bad happened. ONE Go Ahead We're waiting.....
  9. And I agree with that - but when people get killed, he shares in the responsibility for that. And therefore there is accountability, if not at a criminal level, there surely would be at a civil level. Maybe that is the route. A bunch of foreigners file a class action civil lawsuit and destroy the guy, kind alike OJ Simpson. When some US soldier gets ambushed and killed due to a Wikileaks report, it surely will make the news. When that happens, I will change my tune about Julian Assange. But that has not happened, yet he (and Bradley Manning) are being persecuted and prosecuted (publicly) as if that has already happened. All this in a country that claims innocence until proven guilty and freedom. bullshit.
  10. I never said that. I said, "He's My Hero!" (Assange). Something I believe in...free speech and freedom of the press. And I never said any such thing about Bradley Manning either. Actually I even said he is probably in a lot of shit with the law. So once again, welcome back, 'b.d.' crusading behind anonymity to twist and change everything that everyone else says into something that was not said just so you can rant; without purpose but certainly with rhetoric.... So what happened to that list of examples you were going to post of incidents that occurred to Americans soldiers due to Wikileaks? Oh yes, that's right - there AREN'T ANY
  11. I found the 5 watt charger did not keep up with my electric gate opener, even with a small 12v lawn tractor battery. But if you are not drawing from the battery at all, the 5w should keep it topped up. For the 12v lawn tractor battery, I installed 2 10watt panels that were about 12x12" each and that keeps it charged all the time for me. The 15W panel Nothern Tool sells for about $99 along with the small charge controller is a great deal for that size. It is a fairly large panel, so awkward to carry around. I made a fold-up case for two of them, also large and heavy, but it has bailed my ass out in hurricane times here in FL. The 30 Watts charges a car battery in no time and supplies enough juice for small 12V stuff, lights, etc.
  12. So Bradley Manning sits naked in solitary confinement, and at least a dozen people in this thread claim that he has put American lives DIRECTLY in danger with his actions, as has Julian Assange. Yet no one can name a single incident where that actually happened. An we have a nut-job Minister in Florida who burns a Koran, causes riots that get innocent people and UN people killed, DIRECTLY incited from his actions, yet no one appears to give a shit. Well y'know what? That's fucked up. 'cause sure as shit, if anything that Wikileaks published caused something like that, Bradley Manning would be facing the death penalty..... I bet no one dares to go after a 'man of the cloth'. Religion - what a load of shit - on both sides.
  13. no, Kabeller is in Brooksville FL somewhere, Betty is remotely involved in Lake Wales as the FBO, but not really involved in the skydiving anymore,
  14. I like the open ear helmets and I put my old Dytter on the strap next to my ear with cable ties. works great. $29 at Sports Authority, or $300+ for some fancy skydiving helmet - whatever you want I guess.
  15. careful calling it a 'massacre'. Rwanda was a massacre. WWII was a massacre. Hiroshima was a massacre. Yes what Terry Jones did is reprehensible and he outta be put on trial himself. But the USA invaded Iraq without any real cause and at least 100,000 civilians are dead. And then there are stories like this http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4188/is_20031001/ai_n11428478/ where Americans react in rage without ever fucking thinking. Getting wound up about stupid things and then killing people over it is not exclusive to Islamic radicals or anyone else for that matter. The world is full of fucking idiots. Count to ten.....if that does not work, then count to ten again.
  16. I used to write letters with pens and paper. Then came a typewriter, which was cool and was an easy transition from handwriting to typing. Then came the computer, which other than being able to save a document once you typed it, (and then email) is virtually the same as typing. Now I have to 'dance in front of my computer' to send an email? WTF? sounds fucking retarded to me.....
  17. Skydive City's 'Bronze package" A license costs $2450, I think we include goggles, logbook, not sure about the alti, but sounds like you are int eh ballpark at $2800. A lot of it is how well you perform. More or less AFF jumps if you 'bomb' one of them, and more or less coaching to finish the proficiency card for USPA. you can download our info packet at http://www.skydivecity.com/html/students/aff/documents/AFF-ISPInfoPacket2010_000.pdf
  18. actually we have vastly expanded our canopy program at Z-Hills with our students over the past few years. Just by going to the ISP program, there are more and more canopy requirements to be fulfilled. So I disagree that 'they do not teach canopy control any more' - there was a very long period when AFF was created through to the ISP program where it was largely ignored and the freefall skills were focused upon. That has much changed. It still has a lot of room for improvement but there is no way that dropzones teach 'less' canopy control than they did 4 years ago. BTW, "70 jump wonders" are not the ones in the collisions.
  19. The Perris double fatal accident should be no surprise to anyone. Statistically (and unfortunately) these things will happen. Tommy Piras went in back in 1990 or 1991, and no one believed it could happen to someone of such experience. AAD sales went through the roof. Already many have forgotten why AAD's (and RSL's for that matter) are important and people argue against their value. Today we argue (for and against) separating canopy traffic, enforcing patterns and making those 'careless' few more responsible for their actions. Once you open your parachute, you have a responsibility to others to fly sensibly, analyze where you fit into the pattern, FLY the pattern, fly to avoid others and be utmost safe in your approach and landings. Even if that means not landing exactly where you want to land. For sure as shit, this will not be the last canopy collision fatality in our sport. The question is - do you want to be the next one? TK (tired of watching good people die)
  20. wow, wanna try that again in English please?
  21. and you don't care about me either -remember the SOCOM incident? And I don't need your 'care', although it might be appreciated. do you need mine? I doubt it.
