  1. LOL! I like it Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  2. Hey, excellent another addict. Welcome to dz.com. You can add staring at the clear blue sky through the office windows to your list of symptoms. My ability to work always drops when the weather's good Good luck with the rest of your AFF Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  3. Hi Katie, welcome to dz.com. The one piece of advice I could give you about AFF is to relax and enjoy the ride. So many problems are caused by stiffening up. If you really want to improve and can afford it, then get into a windtunnel with a good coach and watch yourself on the DVD afterwards. Good luck Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  4. Hi Jules, I'm a UK jumper too, and yes, we're spoiled with two windtunnels here in the yUK now - woo hoo
  5. Hey, welcome Steve. Talk to your instructors and any gear reps you can to get a good idea as to what to buy, sizes, etc. Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.

  7. Yes. In my FB experience, kissing is/was part of the foreplay and the sex, especially when those lips travelled..... Unfortunately, in this case it ended badly after a couple of months when she began to get strong emotional feelings for me and the boundaries got crossed. So now, relationships for me either last for only a few weeks or several months/year depending on whether there's an emotional commitment or not. Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  8. Sure, (mental/emotional) age matters a lot. I decided when I was 12 that I wasn't ever gonna get married. Since then I just older, I just never grew up. I'm still 12, I've just had a lot more practice at it. Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  9. They blocked my application when I told 'em I jumped out of planes for fun. Apparently if it's not chess or sudoku its not a hobby. Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  10. Getting paid enough that I can take 6-12 months out of every 24 to do something that I actually enjoy.
  11. Hi there peanutt. Don't let sc scare ya, do let skymama spank ya Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  12. Me neither! All of my injuries have been soft tissue stuff from playing rugby. Torn ligaments, ripped muscles, dislocated fingers and several facial scars Luckily i gave up such a dangerous sport to go skydiving a couple of years ago and have never looked back.
  13. No!!! Tequila is ! Its just that I'm a weak-willed sinner who easily led by my friends from the paths of righteous drinking into the errors of the tequila way! "I want a tequila smiley" Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  14. Like a lot of guys, I'll aphabetise my CDs and books, but anything I get in the post will live on the carpet until I get round to my monthly filing attack. Yet I'm completely anal about straightening pictures. I'll only wash the dishes when I run out of clean ones, but it'll drive me nuts if someone else (like my GF) starts to wash them because I *know* they won't be clean and I'll have to do them again when she's not looking. I have a mental block about fixing the cold tap in my bathroom. Its been broken now for over 5 years and I've gotten to like brushing my teeth in hot water. I gave up using shampoo a year ago and its true, your hair does recover and look good when you stop putting chemicals in it. You just have to wash it every day in plain water. Oh, and I love squeezing the loaves of bread in the supermarket. I won't buy 'em, but I love squeezing 'em.
  15. I've always loved dark chocolate, brocolli got to me in my 20's, liver is still a big NO, but kidneys are great. Especially steak and kidney pudding - mmm yummy!
  16. Yeah, when work's slow. I pretty much spend a couple of hours a day browsing here. I hate work, its cuts into my dz.com time, and *looks out of the window at the clear blue sky* my jumping too Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  17. Or let him down gently with "We've decided to allow you to have more quality time with your family". Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  18. Do you know what the scary thing is? Despite having crawled into the office looking like death and telling everyone that tequila is bad. Several people are already planning another session tonight, and I'll probably go Someone hit me Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  19. Lol! I used to visualise something similar, except that my little babbling brook ran by a small graveyard with gravestones with the names of all the people who were pissing me off. Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  20. See, I'm alone in hotel rooms a lot at the mo' too, but then I do things like this Its not sex, but I think it'll tide me over until I can see my GF again at the weekend
  21. OK, so I'm clinging to the tiles in the shower this morning, asking myself "why?". I've got the eyes of a demented ferret, a voice to put darth vader to shame and a head that feels like its being used for a cage match. I mean its not like they're difficult rules. 1) Tequila is bad for you, don't drink it. 2) I *SAID* its bad, now STOP! 3) Hey moron, which bit of rules 1 and 2 don't you get!!! Perhaps I should put this in perspective. After posting yesterday morning complaining that work was slow and I was bored, I promptly proceeded to have the day from hell. Systems dropping, users screaming, mad boss, everything! Finally the day ends and the Super Pointy Haired Boss shows up to thank us for all the good work, he buys a few bottles of champagne, we all have a few and at that point the sensible people go home. The rest of us support bods decide to wander to the local pool hall for a few games and a couple more pints "just to relax". By 9, its just down to a few die hards and people like me who are living in hotels, so we wander down the street a the next bar, a nice, lively, south american bar. Then suddenly its just down to me and my mate, its 11pm and we're thinking "ooooh, night cap"...... At this point it starts to go down hill and gain speed, 'cos he come back with two beers and two tequila shots. Then there's two more, then maybe a few more after that and I'm suddenly being taught how to dance by a brazlian woman who thinks that no one can have as little rythym as this poor, drunk, london boy. Now I don't have two left feet, I've just got these stumps that I stumble around on, and adding tequila to the mix isn't really going to help. Luckily she and her friends decided to give up an me as a lost cause and I finally managed to crawl back to the hotel around 2ish. So my day's intake consisted of: 1 bowl of bran flakes 2 random pieces of fruit a day of coffee and tea champagne beer vodka tequila (urk!) and one or two random drinks thrust into my hands by people who weren't speaking english. I'd like to think of this as a successful night out, but my head and stomach aren't really buying it. Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  22. Most of the people who have died have been previously healthy children and young adults. However most deaths have been in people working with infected birds so it could just be that this is the age group / population that has been most exposed. *If* the virus develops the ability to transmit human to human *and* still maintains its high mortality rate it's going to be a very big concern! But until then there's little point worrying about something you can't do anything about. I don't have the sources to hand, but this 'flu causes the bodies immune response system to overreact. So people with healthy immune systems are actually at greater risk once they catch the disease. They are harder to cure and tend to die quicker. So its pretty bad cross the spectrum. and.... World's shortest fairytale..... Once upon a time a man asked a woman "will you marry me?" The woman replied "No" and the man went skydiving, fishing, motorcycling, drinking and shagging and even though he had no money left in his pocket at the end of the week, he lived happily ever after. Ok, its an old one, but its a slow day at work and I'm bored, so.... The British are feeling the pinch in relation to recent bombings and have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to a "Bloody Nuisance". The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was during the great fire of 1666. Also, the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide". The only two higher levels in France are "Surrender" and "Collaborate." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralysing the country's military capability. It's not only the English and French that are on a heightened level of alert. Italy has increased the alert level from "shout loudly and excitedly" to "elaborate military posturing". Two more levels remain, "ineffective combat operations" and "change sides". The Germans also increased their alert state from "disdainful arrogance" to "dress in uniform and sing marching songs". They also only have two higher levels: "invade a neighbour" and "lose". Gavin Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If you don't take it out and use it, its going to rust.
  25. Phew! Well that explains my driving style then. I just thought I was crap, but now it looks like I'm trying to scare myself stupid by driving badly due to a medical condition.
