On the upside, I'm now in a 250 sq-ft larger apartment with 2 bedrooms instead of 1. All around, a much nicer unit. The best part of it is my rent only went up $15/mo . That said, there's simply no way around the fact that moving sucks.

Shadow sleeps on my bed most nights, most days for that matter. She used to only take so much of my rough sleeping at the foot of my bed before going out to the couch. She's become a lot more forgiving of getting kicked off the bed, rolled over on, and hugged like a teddy bear. She snuggles with me now (since I got back from my trip) and I can't get rid of her . Abby on the other hand, doesn't really have a favorite place to sleep and doesn't hop up onto my bed very often.

I water my cats from a jug I keep in the fridge. Cold water mostly for me, tho they get some of it. Startled both kitties first time they got near frozen water . Shadow likes to dip her nose to see how cold it is. Sometimes she tweaks, then takes a really long drink .

I have 2 litter boxes, and my 2 cats share them. One in the bathroom and one on my deck, and they usually only have access to one or the other. They share a big dish of dry food, but each gets her own dish when I put out canned food. As for water bowls, they share several. They're both young girls of 15 months and 2-3 years.

Amen to that, there are people out there you really don't want to rent to. My dad's friend rented out an investment property to a guy who lived there a few years. They made an agreement at some point to the effect of a rent cutback to pay for improvements to the place. When he told his tenant he was coming out to see the improvements, the guy moved out and torched the place .

Currently I pay $765/mo for a 725 sq-ft 1br/1ba. Next week, I'm renewing my lease and moving to a 950 sq-ft 2br/2ba. My rent's going up to $880, but that includes a bigger place. In 2004, I rented a 675 sq-ft 1br/1ba in Aurora, CO for $565/mo.

I'm in the same boat as Scott, us military folk have to get it. I wouldn't if I didn't have to . I got the flu-mist intranasal vaccine 2 weeks ago, half goes into each nostril. I didn't really notice it for about 5 seconds, then my nose started running real bad, then I got a really nasty maple-syrupy taste in my mouth . Honestly I'd rather get the shot.

OUCH!!!!! Thankfully I was out cold when they yanked out all 4 of my wisdom teeth. The doc overdoing the general plus being very generous with the pain candy made about 4 days pass in a flash. My mom metered my meds for me, even said I was up and around, driving places. Scary thing was running out of the meds on Tuesday and having no memory of the previous 4 days . I couldn't tell you if it hurt because I honestly don't remember .
