do you wash tongs after touching raw meat? before touching cooked meat?

Talk about getting ripped off.

She loves getting brushed, and that cuts down on the shedding exponentially, but she still sheds a lot. Shorter hairs would be nice tho.

My new cat's coat length/texture reminds me of my yellow lab, maybe a little longer. Everything's getting a layer of white cat hair. I'm thinking a buzz with a .5" comb would help the shedding problem quite a bit. Is that something people actually do?

Shave it all bro!! Use a straight razor and pour a bunch of alcohol on the area afterwards!! ETA: check out http://shaveeverywhere.com

Wow, 8 hours of class on a Saturday!! Good luck on those quizzes!!

I'd definitely try an anti-inflammatory. I took Naproxen for a while, mostly for my tendonitis issues, but found Mobic to be much more stomach friendly. If algebra's stressing you out like this, think what calculus will do to you.

Thanks for all the great advice, last night was interesting. Some hissing and growling, a few swipes, but no blood drawn. They had a bit of a scuffle over a water cup (I have 3 or 4 cups out), later over Abbie's litter box. When Abbie stopped hissing, Shadow peed in her box with Abbie 3 feet away. I let Shadow out this morning to let Abbie explore her new surroundings undisturbed.
-
LOL, Abbie's already taken a liking to the bed, there will be flying fur over it. I just fed them both a little while ago. Abbie had a half-can of food earlier, then another half can just now (she has one heck of an appetite). I fed the 2 in 2 different spots, but I'll get to feeding both in the kitchen. Abbie was really vocal with me on the 20 minute drive home. She startled me with some really loud meowing so I turned on the radio and we both sang along.

Thanks Michele. I let Shadow in a little while ago. Shadow's under the futon and Abbie's under the dining table. They're about 10 feet apart and staring at each other. Abbie seems to be adjusting quite well to the apartment. I'll give them both free access to the apartment tonight, and put Shadow out on the deck tomorrow. Let them hiss at each other thru the glass and let Abbie explore the apartment alone. I put one of Shadow's litter boxes away and replaced it with Abbie's. Shadow still has access to her box on the deck. I'll have to figure out feeding areas, I haven't been consistent with where I feed Shadow b/c of ants. BTW, here's a pic of her.

One of them is . My sofa/loveseat set's way too big for my apartment so the loveseat ended up outside.

I've done it. I've taken the plunge and adopted a second cat. Any tips on introducing the 2? When I first got home, I put Shadow on the deck and let Abbie check out the apartment for a while. Then I put Shadow in the bedroom while I brushed Abbie, trimmed her claws and bathed her. Now Abbie's chilling out on the deck and Shadow's free in the apartment. Right now they can see each other, smell each other and hear each other. They've both charged the glass a couple times.

You're supposed to wash chicken?? I usually start cooking it when it's still frozen.

None. I don't very many PM's. When I do, it's usually a reply to a PM I sent.

Good shoes do make a huge difference for me. I've been spending about $90 on running shoes (from a runner's store), then wearing them as general purpose shoes after I decide to retire them for running. What kills me is my uniform shoes and when I wear my Vans for several days.
-
Hope your feet aren't too sore in the morning, that's always the most painful time for me. First few steps of the day, I walk like I'm 90 . My job has me walking 2 or 3 miles a day in my building, in combat boots. If I don't do my stretches, wear my prescription orthotics, and take my Mobic; I have trouble walking period. I'm sure it'll take some physical therapy, but I want to get to the point where I can do my job and run on a daily basis without PF pain.
-
So much for that hot shower afterwards Maybe the cold rinse will help me when I actually do run. I've had issues with tendonitis for a couple years (both achilles and plantar-faschia, more PF lately). I tend to last about a week running 2-3 miles, every other day, then I stop b/c it really hurts. I haven't run in a couple months, but love the changes in my body when I do.

I hit the coin-op high-pressure wash about once a week.

I've had one fender-bender. I was 16 with about a year of driving experience and I T-boned an old guy going the wrong way on a 1 way section of road. He made a left turn into the wrong side of a median, into another left turn lane, while I was turning right out of a gas station into said lane. My front left corner hit his left rear quarter panel. That was '95, no accidents since.

Closing loop life span, fuzzy = frayed?
matt1215 replied to matt1215's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
How often do you change your closing-loop? I've read several posts that say change when frayed, but I'm curious where fuzziness factors in. -

I'd nest this somewhere in your while loop: If keystroke = { break } You might have to use exit instead of break

Ever drink a whole bottle of hard liquor in a night?
matt1215 replied to FlyinDawg's topic in The Bonfire
I've really hurt myself with Soju. One night in Korea, 3 or 4 of us drank almost 2 2-liter bottles of the stuff. Drank till 3 or 4am then slept well into the afternoon.
