I'm attending a convention in DC and noticing a lot of Parachutist Badges. The few I've observed today appeared to be displayed secondary to another occupational badge. I've always gotten sideways looks since my career-field doesn't have an OB. The PB looks pretty cool, but I take it that formally adding it to one's uniform would involve more than taking a USPA license to the MPF.

When I got my first stick, the hand-brake came in real handy on uphill starts. You just have to feel out how much to come off the clutch so you don't roll back or stall while getting your foot to the gas. Downhill starts are a lot easier, I roll a little and start off in second.

Not sure about that Stitch. My cat was spayed before I got her (confirmed by the vet). It's far more pleasant to not have her not going into heat with horny toms staking out my place. In case you haven't realized, there are far more pets than there are homes for them.

I've never met my older brother. He only lived 3 months but would be about 4.6 years older than I and exactly 3 years younger than my sister. I think of him as a guardian-angel of sorts and look forward to meeting him in heaven.

She's 8 years older, has 2 boys (6 & 3), and lives in WA. I don't see my nephews (or my sis) near often enough.

Honestly, I'm still trying to figure that out. Almost 30 and still figuring out "what I want to be when I grow up". A couple years ago, I was all about marrying my SO and starting a family with her . That didn't pan out and my life focus has shifted to being single and selfish. Persuing new experiences and living life in general. That's a large part of why I started skydiving. It's helped me think about airtime rather than her.

Mostly a dark green with some brown/gold near the inside. Fades to mostly green at times, less often the green darkens and the brown/gold is more visible. Overall, my eyes are lighter than they were 10 or 15 years ago and my hair's darker. It's brown with a little red, but I was a carrot-top in baby pics.

I haven't used any hearing protection beyond what my open-faced Z1 offers. I'm a little hard of hearing anyway, so it seems like a bad idea on the plane. I could always wear a set of foamies, but then I doubt I'd hear my Neptune.

I made 2 jumps Friday and my hearing's still diminished. A bit muffled with a little ringing on one side. I've cleared my ears several times which doesn't help the hearing, just nauseates me. Some degree of temporary hearing loss with jumping is normal for me, which is a large part of why I limit my jump numbers in a given weekend. Anyone dealt with DCS and/or permanent hearing loss associated with skydiving?

1. My parents 2. No, and it matters little to me. 3. I have SGLI through the USAF, but I have no idea if it pays if I die skydiving. 4. No I'm single with no kids and as far as I'm concerned, the bank can repo my car and other creditors can eat my accounts. My parents are well enough off that they can deal with my remains as they see fit without much worry. I have enough put away in various accounts that everything would probably be a wash.

I like skysmell too. What's up with the ™'s? Did you put those there? I think packers in general hold a trademark for stinkysmell. Rigs after a day of jumping and clean pussy definitely have goodsmell.
