My parents, with my sister as a backup. My folks are 3200 miles away, but would be very hurt if anyone else (other than my sister) got the initial call. At least one of them would catch the next flight from Portland to Orlando, no matter the cost, esp if I were too busted up to try to talk them out of it.

Yes. I ultimately had to give up on the prospect of a future with a dear friend of mine. She was my HS sweetheart, but we wanted different enough things in life. It came down to staying sane/alive. A definitive point in moving on was when I started skydiving and bought a new (to me) car. It was quite therapeutic to do 2 things she strongly disapproved of in a 2 week period.

I've always had reflux in the morning; food just doesn't appeal to me early in the day. I do like breakfast for lunch and dinner. I often fry up some bacon & eggs for dinner, maybe tonight.

What off-season? If there's an off-season in Florida it's now, heat and stickiness chase a lot of ppl off. I ski when I get the chance, but I don't think we get much snow here. If we do, the ski/snowboard season's awful short . -

On of my favorite breakfasts: Cut a grapefruit in half and section. Sprinkle with sugar and serve in a bowl with a spoon. Yummy!!
