Cause the battery indicator's on full, I hadn't really thought about it. It sounds like the software could do with an update anyway, but I'm going to give new batteries a go to see if they help.

I haven't got it on me at the mo, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the original versions maybe 1.5 or something like that. The battery shows up as full so I didn't think that could be the problem. Will there probably not be a problem with it being secondhand if I take it to a service rep? Cheers for replying, first time I've used the forum and I'm impressed!

Hi, just looking for some advice. I'm in the UK and just bought a second hand neptune off ebay to use as an audible and logbook. Thing is, the alarms aren't loud beeps, just distorted clicking so I think it's pretty much useless as an audible and I don't want it as a visual. Would it be expensive to get it fixed or should I try and sell it on as a visual-only? Cheers.
