  1. Congrats! I just got the A license myself. Passing AFF was big for me, but getting that license was HUGE. I used the no-pressures to work on sticking points between coach jumps, and they helped a lot. (I've never done the wind tunnel - $$$ factor.) Still, even when I do solo jumps with no objective in mind, boredom's never been an issue. I guess I'm easily amused Where do you jump? Maybe I'll see you when I go up to the Bay Area again. 2. Just from personal experience, when I've taken the time to keep a detailed log, whether it's work, weight lifting or skydiving, I find I improve much more quickly. But it's also a drag, so I can totally see why many experienced jumpers don't keep detailed logs. I guess it depends on where you're going with it - I know some guys who have detailed flyfishing logs, but I just like to fish. Coming Soon: An exciting tag line
  3. I certainly can't say Republicans are fiscally responsible from personal experience. I'm a Republican, and I blow all my free money and then some on this new obsession of mine. I do appreciate the Bush tax cuts, though. Coming Soon: An exciting tag line
  4. I did my AFF1 in August as one of those "things to do before I die" experiences, and immediately became obsessed. I've been spending pretty much all my fun money (and then some) on this sport, getting up early on weekends, and having the time of my life. As of this post, I'm probably one trip to the DZ away from getting the A license. Just found out about this site. Coming Soon: An exciting tag line
