I'm looking into flying to Dublin next weekend and I'm wondering where I can jump! I'm stuck in Germany and all the DZ's near me are closed for the season (expletive deleted). I checked out the IPC's website and noticed that they are open weekends year-round, which is sweet. Anyone know if anythings going on there next weekend? I assume there are trains that can get me there, any input there? Sweet Gravity...

No DZ in Egypt last I heard. There was a guy who was all set to start one but apparently the gov't wasn't too keen on the idea. Lots of other cool shit to do though, Dahab on the Red Sea is a good place to go climbing, scuba diving, kite surfing, wind surfing... drinking... Look in the DZ database for Jordan, I think there is one there, might be kinda pricey though. Sweet Gravity...

I went to Sky Khef a couple years back and it was awesome! The staff was cool as hell and the jumpers were super friendly. I very much recommend the place. They were flying an Islander at the time, not the fastest plane in the world but it did the job for sure. It was kind of surreal being able to see Gaza and the West Bank from altitude. As far as the question about the political climate... you'll find the Israeli people have learned to get on with life despite the pressures in the country. In fact, I've heard that the nightlife in Tel Aviv is one of the best in the world. Sweet Gravity...

I'm torn. I've got a 4 day this weekend, Pink Skyvan Boogie near Hamburg or Skydive Prague? Either way I think its a crap shoot as far as the weather is concerned... any input would be greatly appreciated. Sweet Gravity...

Ooh, ooh, I got a question... Why in the hell is this matter in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee? How about the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, the Committee on Environment and Public Works, or... call me crazy here... the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs... (and this last sounds like the most appropriate considering the charges being leveled at the Bush administration...) perhaps... maybe I'm a nutty bastard, it's because senator clinton isn't on any of the more appropriate committee's... A - this 'issue' is being inflated by populist politicians in hopes of beating votes out of the uneducated. B - this is an unavoidable example of the other side of gerrymandering... and the worse side. The mainstream media is asking all the wrong questions regarding the 'UAE ports deal'... IE why the F U C K is the Armed Services committee hearing this matter? We badly need to reign in our politicians. There is no logical reason why the Armed Services committee ought to be holding hearings on a commerce matter... if this matter is deemed to have major implications on national security then it should be referred to Homeland Security... or several other committee's that logically would rank before Armed Services... I find it quite tragic that our democracy, the model for the rest of the planet, has been struck so low... populism is an ugly thing. Sorry for the rant. Sweet Gravity...

I put about 200 jumps on a 170 hornet and had the same issue. the best method I found was to leave the nose alone and just roll the hell out of the tail, nice and tight. Sweet Gravity...
