[oh yeah.. and it was more like 5 or 6 pies..... y'all kickass.... and y'all are in for it ] i think you got pied more than that. but the great thing was how just when you thought we were done pieing you he comes more people with more pies. [actually i was just looking for an excuse to touch sunnydee] since when do you need an excuse to touch a girl. just offer her money like you do everyone else [and y'all are in for it ] bring it on! I figured it was important to show everyone there was a ditch filed with the most foul smelling, disease infested, muddy water in the middle of the drop zone.. so i took one for the team! Make it quick and sexy. (insert philosophical quote here)

So according to this someone just off student status couldn't jump mains like the sabre2, safire2 or spectre even if the are loading it under 1.1 becouse these canopies are listed in categories 2 and 3? Even though these canopies are recommended as good first mains at lower wingloadings and some are used as student mains at some dropzones. Is this a false statement? This could be good as guidelines from the uspa if the list is done over a little but if people are already going to ignore the advice of fellow jumpers and the S&TA's, and jump canopies they are not ready for, why would they follow guidelines from uspa? I don't know how I feel about them being mandatory rules but if they were it would shore save some lives and lots of broken bones. (insert philosophical quote here)

same thing happen to me on a sabre 2 loaded at about 1.3 - 1.4. i stalled it (i don't have to wrap the lines to get it to stall) and when i went to recover it let up on the toggles about 3 inches then it went to hell. it shook me so violently i let all the way up on toggle while still holding one down. then it went into line twist and i was spinning on my back. pulling on the toggles after that did nothing because there were so many twist the steering lines had to much tension on them. i didn't try anything after that because the g forces were just to much. i can't get my canopy to spin that hard if i berry one toggle all the way down. lost the canopy. thank god it was a demo. but we found it three months later. odds are when your canopy started flying with linetwist you had uneven toggles. i hope this helps you.
