    i asked my instructor about why skysurfing is not popular anymore, he told me that it's because of too many deaths due to it he said that its hard to stop a fast spin, and if the surfer is inverted they can black out due to the high speed spin, the spinning board acts like helecopter blades and slows your decent enough to stop the AAD firing.... so you spin unconcious into the ground nice

    to be honest, it's something i've wondered myself ! was "bounce" just an expression, or do people really do it? we all have a morbid curiosity, how many of us rubber neck at car crashes? if you can hold your hand up and say you don't, i'd say you're in the minority. having a morbid curiosity doesn't make you a bad person, it doesn't mean you're mentally ill, it just menas you are curious about life's way of making people feel shit, thats all.

    to carry on from the locked "Bounce" topic, you can see somebody burning in on the Faces Of Death video. They have something out (possibly a main chute) but its just flapping in the wind as they spank in do a google search for Faces Of Death, you'll find the Dvd out there

    i'm not trolling on this subject i really dont understand why i MUST pack my own? just because most people do, doesn't make it skydiving law that everybody must i'm lazy, i dont want to do it, there are people there who do it as their job for cheap... why should i not use them?

    i'm not really interested at the moment, i trust the gear will work and thats fine for me i know i'll be interested in finding out how it all works later, but i'll still not learnt to pack for ages yet, i would rather have a chat and a laugh on the ground than be packing a rig yep, there really are people who are that lazy out there, i'm one of them
