i do any hand shake that the others are doing, it costs nothing apart from a few seconds and relaxes me, makes me feel like i know people when i don't know them... i've spoken to a few people on the ground after wishing them good luck at hand shake time, nice way to make first contact with people

i'd watch it, just out of curiosity was it a terrible event? of course it was, but i've watched loads of films about real life terrible events, THANKFULLY none of them directly concerning me and i guess its that fact that let me watch them.

because i know somebody who runs a car forum, he once told me that you can be banned in a few ways, you can have your forum acount locked... you just create another one then, or they can ban your IP address... you create another acount behind a proxy server then. i noticed that this site allows Hotmail e-mail addresses, quite a few sites these days don't allow them becasue they are so easy to set up. If you have your IP adress banned, you have to give another e-mail address from the proxy server IP, or you wont get your validation e-mail. sites can ban whole ranges of Ip address's, but whats the point? they will only potentially stop legitimate people from signing up, all to stop one person? some sites require admin to validate any new accounts, but all they can do is check IP addresses and look for any obvious give aways in user names or e-mail addresses, pretty pointless really, unless the offender is so stupid as to register a new user name very similar to the banned one if somebody is going to go to the trouble of using a proxy server, they are hardly going to pick a transparent one, why not just look down the list for ones that are "high anonymity" then of course you've got tunnelling softare that will get you onto anything you want, or you can just use free stuff, 5 seconds on google and you've got http://www.publicproxyservers.com/ the thing about the internet is that you can have people registering on your site from all over the world, so when you check an IP and it comes up as Porto Rico and you run a skydiving site, it's not going to look out of place, the fact that person could be sat in Glasgow is another matter, LOL

and lose how many pilots doing this? and if you have to invade, how many more thousands of soldiers will be coming back in body bags or with bits blown off them? can't you see that negotiation is the best way? how many american soldiers have been killed in Iraq so far? do you think the loss of all those lives has been worth it to get America into the position it's in right now? i think America could have got themselves into exactly the same position it's in right now through tough political negotiation with iraq, and not lost all the lives it already has. I think they can achieve their goals in Iran too by negotiation, saving many thousands more lives on both sides

people thought the violence in Northern Ireland would never stop... but it finally has because of negotiation. Untill both Israel and the Palestinian leaders get together and thrash out yet another peace deal, this kind of thing will go on and on and on and...... you can't stop/win a war on terror by military means, only negotiation will bring and end to conflicts like this

i've been reading and listening to the clicky's in your sinature, interesting stuff, but i just dont get it. its interesting to read the parachute analogies, grasping to put the rig on as you go through the door of death, hoping you can repent just in time (put the rig on) to save your soul/life. Then saying why not put the rig on in plenty of time/repent and lead your life in the manner of Christ. its the age old argument though, how do you make somebody believe, or change them to a disbeliever? you can't either way. I dont think either side can put up arguments that will change a person from one camp to another. I find your links interesting (i'm always up for another point of view) but still not enough to make me believe

i don't really believe in any of it i think when i die, i just stop. i wont experience heaven, i won't experience hell, i won't experience anything. I equate death to what i felt before i was born, nothing. death to me is not having any thoughts, not having any feelings, not having anything at all, its just nothing. i think "fair play girl" to people like windcatcher, she believe in something that i don't.

are there many parts of the bible that should not be taken litterally? i've never read it (prefer Penthouse and Rustler myself) so i'm not quite sure about it what is meant by the fact they talk about Adam and Eve? surely they had sex with their own children to start the human race off if its to be taken as litteral? if its not, what is menat by all the Adam and Eve parts of the bible? How about science? have all the scientists in the world who talk about Evolution got it wrong too? did the earth really just suddenly appear when god made it, or is that part of genesis meant to mean something else? when they the bible says god created the world in 6 days, does it not actually mean god created the world in 6 days? i'm genuinly curious as to know if many parts of the bible are to be taken litterally or are the stories meant to be viewed as symbolick messagers?

It actually just came in my NetFlix queue last week. I hadn't seen it in like 15 years and I was disappointed - not nearly as funny as I thought it would be albeit a few good moments. Holy Grail is by far better than Life of Brian or Meaning of Life (which was better than L of B). thank god (no pun intended ) somebody got it, i watched it last night for the first time in about 10 years, and yeah... good , but not nearly as funny as i remembered

didn't jesus give away all his worldy possesions ? why does the church have so much money? why doesn't it follow jesus and give all its money and possesions away? simply because its a business, there to provide a living for some people and let them have nice big houses and cars we'll spread the word of god, but won't actually follow it ourselves (oh yes, we'll have some well thought out answer as to why not if you challenge us about it, we've got to keep people giving money to us somehow)
