  1. Most of the DZ's are about the same drive time for me which is from an hour to 2 hours. I just thought it would be cool to check them all out. Plus since im on the coast Lompoc is known for getting too windy a lot so it would be nice (if its calling for wind) to jump other DZ's after my AFF, but before my license. 2. I think your right. There is no license number. Probably someone just messing around on here. Haha we'll call these people "the trolls" "Good rule of thumb; is what you are doing the EASIEST for You? Because if it is, it ain't going to work for the people around you."
  3. Yeah. I haven't even jumped yet, but that doesn't sound right. Actually sounds dangerous. "Good rule of thumb; is what you are doing the EASIEST for You? Because if it is, it ain't going to work for the people around you."

I am trying to raise enough money to be able to start this summer. right now i'm hooked on this forum and videos. "Good rule of thumb; is what you are doing the EASIEST for You? 6. Alright cool. I will give Hollister a call too. They are both about the same distance from where I am. Do you go there a lot? "Good rule of thumb; is what you are doing the EASIEST for You? Because if it is, it ain't going to work for the people around you."
  7. I was wondering if you go through your AFF at one DZ can you complete the rest of the 25 jumps at other DZ's? Or do you have to stay at one until you get your A license? 8. Awesome. Thanks. Yeah, i have been hearing that Lompoc is very tandom oriented and not the best place for AFF. Also heard it got windy and i was a beach guard last summer and it was blown out almost everyday. I'll give Taft a call thanks again. "Good rule of thumb; is what you are doing the EASIEST for You? 9. Lompoc, Taft, and Hollister DZs My friend and I are starting our AFF this summer and I was wondering if any of you had been to these DZ's in Cali and if so how are they? I have heard that Lompoc can get windy a lot because it's close to the coast and the landing area isn't the biggest. Lompoc is an hour away and Taft and Hollister are about 2 hours. Let me know if you ever been. Thanks! "Good rule of thumb; is what you are doing the EASIEST for You? Because if it is, it ain't going to work for the people around you."
  10. I am going to start AFF with a friend this summer and I’m stoked just thinking about it. Just wondering if any of you download videos all the time and are pasted to the forums like I am? Ha. I haven’t even jumped yet, but I can’t wait! "Good rule of thumb; is what you are doing the EASIEST for You? Because if it is, it ain't going to work for the people around you."
  11. Do you usually use pc's or would you not mind a mac? I would go with a Sony Vaio if you like that side. I love my Vaio and it is great for editing and graphics. They have also come down in price a lot and you can always talk to someone if you need help. Plus they have a 2 year warrenty that covers anything including a dropped lap top. But the new macs are incredible. What are you used to? "Good rule of thumb; is what you are doing the EASIEST for You? Because if it is, it ain't going to work for the people around you."
