*** It's really not as widely 'accepted' by the men as they'd like you to think either*** O.K., fess up guys . . .what's the truth on the matter? Excellent question Jessica, I was looking for him last week and couldn't find him anywhere. Since I too now have limited access (read darn job), I had to give up the search. Maybe he's got a new job that also demands more of his attention and limits his access? Darn, it's a terrible thing to be employed and responsible. I like it better as a kid who just lived to skydive. Diva

Tee: You need to get some blue and red light bulbs and replace all the regular lights in your house with these. The effect is pretty cool. I have parts of a manikin that I put the arms and the legs sticking out of the ground, it looks like someone burned one in on landing. Oh, the dry ice and the smoke machine are absolutely necessary items as well. I think this year I'm dressing up as a homeless person - my lease runs out on Oct. 31st and I haven't a place to live yet!! Ouch! Hope everyone has a great Halloween! Diva

Hey Tee be glad you've got a landlord! I got myself in a real pickle last weekend. Found another house to rent, bigger, (2 bathrooms), put a deposit down and almost had the lease signed, gave my landlord notice and then the new landlords back out on me. Told me that she owned another house that she was moving into closer to her work - turned out her parents own it, want to sell it not rent to her. Now, I've given notice and I either grovel to stay where I am (in the boonies) and have to sign a year's lease or I might be homeless by the 31st of next month! I'm thinking the hanger is a little cold in the winter months! Diva [anyone need/want a fine cat with extra toes?]

What about that new show with all the singles (are they on an island again?)? Did anyone catch that? Are there any hotties running around on that one? I say we get ourselves together a singles cruise for the beginning of the year, say Jan. or Feb. when we'll need a little sun and warmth! Who's in? (Oh yeah, and it's required that you at least make an appearance every once in a while from your cabin! )

Speedie: It's easier to say than to live, but don't feel too bad about your decision. Sometimes life gets in the way of your jumping. I had to take 10 months off (not due to an injury) and came back working on my A. And if I'd quit hitting that darn step on the C-182 I'd get off my duff and have it by now! So, you're still way ahead of the game as far as I'm concerned. By the way, you don't have a 160 or 170 do ya? Just keep in mind that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. You gotta have some fun too!! Diva

In the hours and days to come there will be some of us who are confronted face to face with this tragedy and the toll that it will take on our lives. As today grows longer and the numbers are counted, please everyone keep in mind that our thoughts and prayers are with you all and your families. Please know that you have friends available and willing to listen and comfort when and if you need an ear or a shoulder. And for those of you who are in the armed forces and have or will be called up, even though you can not let us know what's happening in your life, where you are and what you are doing, send a message that will at least let us know that you are well. It is days like today that I am thankful for the life that I have and I live, because you never know when you won't be around for tomorrow. Hugs Diva

Hey, Pyke! Did you know on Ross Island (McMurdo Station) in Antarctica there are no polar bears? No, absolutely no polar bears in Antarctica! There are at least two different kinds of penguins that can be found there. Did you know that summer starts there the first of October and the population will increase there by about 8 times? I don't know about you, but I've learned at least a thing or two this morning!! Diva (hoping it's information is going to come in handy with a certain helicopter pilot)

About the gold thing - I had to wait 6 months! I was told that I needed to leave in the surgical steal ring for 6 months because it takes that long to heal and gold is more porous and could cause infection easier. I kind of questioned this because after all when you get your ears done (or way back when I had mine done) they would only use gold. I never had a problem with my belly ring. I had mine done in the fall. My sister on the other hand, had hers done in the summer went swimming in the lake and it got infected. I guess you have to be really careful and think twice about dirty water, sun tan lotions, lotions, powders, and perfumes, etc... I will say one thing, it certainly doesn't take any time to close up if you take out the ring. I took my ring out for two days (I was spayed) and had to push the darn thing through because it had almost closed completely up. Some things you have to work around when you get your belly button done is: jeans (or other pants) that have the closure button right where your belly button is (low cuts are better) and the all time worse is panty hose!! Oh, and one more thing, you might want to make sure who ever is doing the piercing knows where you want the ring - either at the top or at the bottom of your belly button. I have a friend who had hers done and she's got the ring at the bottom only because the guy who did it prefered it that way! Diva

Pammi: You're so bad girl! (You little trouble maker) You just happen to be braver than me. I thought about the tat, but I just couldn't get past getting old and having my skin sagging and it looking like sh*t. Not that sagging skin is attractive in the first place. And I'd really like to get my tongue pierced, but I've heard that people start having problems with their teeth because they keep banging the thing against the side of their teeth. That would be me, I'd be playing with that thing in my mouth all the time!! Diva
