Zenny: You're right, then on top of that add in someone who had boiled eggs for breakfast!! DOOOOOOORRRRR!! Diva
  2. Bless you freeflyer49, I feel better already!! Diva
  3. They're everywhere?? I thought they were just in Virginia? Diva

    Happy Hour!!

You keep that up and you'll be an Old Hand before you know it. (oh, look that's another one for me!) Diva

    Tattoo Design!!

Ahh, the resurrection (no pun) of the tattoo thread! Thanks Jtval, I think I know which tat I want now!! Not only that, but Pammi and Jessica, if this guy wasn't a brother, I think I'd know him!!! I know what you mean Pammi, look at the wings on that one!! Diva
  6. Yes, you must include the peanut butter!! (geesh, shaking head, these guys know jack!) Diva
  7. Kingie: Did you hear snickering? I can't imagine who that was, because I was bent double in a belly laugh that they heard all the way down the hall!! Did you happen to catch Screamer's quote this morning? "Free your mind and your ass will follow." (I love it) There's one I overheard a JM telling his student. "It's o.K. to hold your breath when you jump because at that altitude you can breath through your skin" I'm sure those JM's have all kinds of cool stuff for you. Diva
  8. Hotload: Sweet! Thank you for volunteering to ask around for me! I'm in Virginia (o.k., go ahead a laugh Pammi), so I'll probably start out either here or West Va. caving to see if I like that kind of thing. First the sky, then the ocean and now I'm going underground!! 600,000 bikers!! Woow, sounds like there would be some wild times to be had there! Thanks again! Diva
  9. Good Morning Screamer! (knock, knock, you wake yet? Please don't shoot me!) ___________________________________________________________________________ "Free your mind and your ass will follow." ___________________________________________________________________________ I have quotes posted here at work on my computer and I have just the spot for this one!! I love it! Divadiver
  10. Damn Screamer! You won't have to remind me twice that you're not a morning person!! I'm not myself, but after 5 days of rain and a tiny tornado that sat down just down the road from where I live yesterday, I was happy to hear the little buggers singing! (homeless maybe, but they're still singing) (Hey, I said they woke me up, I didn't say that I got up!!) Divadiver
  11. Zennie: I use to have those falling dream and just before you hit all the muscles in your body tighten and shoot you jolting from the dream. I haven't had one of those since I started jumping either, I just freefall. Cool, huh!! Divadiver
  12. Froggie: I love it!!! ROFLMAO!! Divadiver
  13. There's a song (the name, artist escapes me at the moment) that has a line in it that says - when you dream your feet never touch the ground. I can't ever remember walking in my dreams!! So, am I flying all the time? Hmmmm, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!! (did I happen to mention there's not a cloud in the sky? Killer blue all around!!) Divadiver
  14. Whew! Thank goodness! Like I said, I think you're on the right track. Get him in the plane first and then see what happens. Or at least get him to the DZ, let him see how kick ass it is!! You two have fun!! Divadiver
  15. Anonymous: Here, here! 100% with you! I couldn't agree more. Now, I have a question, anyone ever thought of caving? I was told vertical caving is pretty cool (no pun). I'm just a little squeemish about the creatures in the cave!! I have a friend who is interested in learning to ride (drive) a motorcycle (well, me too). She's particularly interested in Harley's (well, me too). Is there any good forums like this one for her to hang out and learn from? Thanks! Divadiver (I quit being "normal" about 2 years ago!)
  16. Jessica: If he gets hostile, lean in close and whisper . . . cut-away!! Geesh, you said it was early in the relationship, if these little things make him hostile, what will the really important stuff do to him? Does he show any interest at all in skydiving? Going with you to the DZ to watch? Hang out at the DZ? Meeting your friends at the DZ? If not, what the heck are you doing with this guy? Not that it's got to be all about skydiving, but you two have to have something in common to have hooked up, right? I think you have the right idea about buying him a ride up. Get him in the plane, let him see what it's all about, who knows, the next thing you know he may be out the "DOOR!" Good luck!! Divadiver
  17. Cyber dear, just eat your banana, pay your car insurance bill and calm down! No one ever said normal was fun!! BTW, that magic bag, anything interesting in there? Maybe you could sprinkle a little magic dust so that we could all have a bright, sunny, long holiday weekend? I say let the sun shine, let the skies be blue with light winds!! Divadiver
  18. Hey Andy: You and that anonymous person are on the same wave length! Scary, you two think alike!! Is that "normal"?? Far from Normal - Divadiver
  19. Hey Cyber! Good Morning!! Isn't it a beautiful morning!! The little birdies woke me up at about 5:30 this morning just singing. They apparently were thrilled not to have rain drops coming down on their little heads! Breakfast, I'm not big on breakfast. But if I could have anything, it's got to be coffee first!! I like fruit, it would have to be strawberries and banana or cherries. Maybe a piece of toast with peanut butter (gotta have my peanut butter!). On the other hand, a ham and cheese croissant wouldn't be bad either! And then there's eggs, eggs sunny side up or eggs with onions, peppers, and cheese! Oh, my god there's pancakes - wrap a quartered banana up in a pancake, top it off with whip cream and pecans and syrup . . . Sorry, I've gotta go now . . . Divadiver
  20. Skip: Hey when you watch your vids, and they scan the plane and then cut to the door opening, does your heart start to race? When you're at work and you pass a window, do you stop to see if there's any wind and check out the clouds? Do you know exactly how long it takes to fake an illness, pack a cooler and make it out to the DZ? Yeah, I'd say you're going to fit right in! Welcome! Divadiver
  21. Pammi: It's the darnest thing, (at our DZ we jump from perfectly good airplanes, but) when it comes to getting down off that farm equipment out there in the field, we're almost always falling and breaking something. (At least that's what the EMTs with the rescue squad tell the hospital.) Divadiver
  22. Pammi: Let's just say I'm incredibly jealous and leave it at that! (I'm not counting the 6 jumps, the new rig, having two rigs to jump, the free jump for mother's day, or even standing the landings!!) You lucky girl, you!! Divadiver
  23. Kirils: I know just the guy for her! Friend of mine went to the DZ did his first AFF level one then on the level II jump came down, didn't flare and now he's got 4 more weeks in a cast, extra metal and a couple of screws in his leg. The two of them can exchange cabin fever conversations!! Is she getting out and at least spending some time at the DZ or is it too early for that just yet? When she's up and around, she needs to get back out to the DZ. There's stuff that she can get signed off on and she doesn't need to jump in order to complete those. Wishing her a speedy recovery!! She'll be back up soon!! Until then, she can spend some time with us, here!! Divadiver
  24. WTF, Baaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaw!!! I've heard of sand in places you never imagined, but this pretty much takes the cake! Ouch!! I'm having a better day already!! Thanks Cyberskydive! Divadiver
  25. Our little Wingie really does have wings under that uniform!! One day he'll thank you!! Diva
