Working today, but our offices will close at 3 p.m. Then it's off to the store for T-day fixins! I've done a bit of desk cleaning, prep for next week, listening to Christmas music. Would love to meet you too!!!! Maybe we can plan for a skydiver night out so we can invite everyone. (no I'm not paying) I'll be hanging with whuffos so it's unlikely we'll be going to the DZ or tunnel - I can probably get away for a day or 2. I live and work in Ventura County... my commute is 40 minutes but I don't mind it so much as half of the commute is through farm land. I first moved to SoCal in 92 - I've lived in LA, Orange, and Ventura counties. Each have offered good and bad. In LA, if you're looking for a low cost beach living with plenty of job / fun opportunities within a decent commute - Long Beach is the place! DZ's a lil over an hour away (in good traffic) Orange County has it all, however the cost of living there is just crazy. Ventura County offers a much slower relaxed pace, less traffic, less people, beautiful beaches, average temps year round. Plenty of cool activities. Unless you work for Amgen, most of the high paying jobs will require a commute. DZ's about 2 hours drive. I don't have the snow globe, but I do have an inflatable grinch that jumps out of the chimney with presents and the dog surrounding the chimney! IT'S AWESOME!!!! Roy, I am so sorry to hear this. My Grandfather passed of cancer when I was 17. I'm lucky that my Mom and entire family was included in his life, and his illness. My Mom and I did not get a chance to see my Grandfather before he passed (we were trying to get back to the States from Japan), this was the most heartbreaking part - not being able to say goodbye. Give yourself and Conner time to visit with him (if possible), be honest with your feelings - it's okay to hurt, and remember those things that made his life beautiful! Much love to you!!!!
