I did the Chantix route and it made it really easy. If you slip up it's like smoking cotton, so you get _nothing_ out of it. Made the habit breaking part super easy. Hang in there, breathe or yell through those cravings. This too, shall pass. Is a chicken omelette redundant?

My life lesson for this year is to "love what I love" and not be all ashamed about it. I LOVE MEN IN UNIFORM! It's the protector and leader thing. Add in a splash of danger and Oh MY GOD. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book series by Charlaine Harris. It's interesting on so many levels. It's more than a "campy vampire" story. It's a love story, vampire story, and social commentary. If you're just watching it for fangs and blood, yeah. You're going to be disappointed. The director is Alan Ball of "Six Feet Under." If you didn't like the flavor of that series you won't like True Blood either. I'm a HUGE fan. Of both the show and books. It's been a looooong time that any storyline captured my imagination and made me think "what if." This one did that. Also - being a Southern transplant I did not find their accents unrealistic. If you notice Bill's is different than Sookie's, and for a good reason. His is centuries old. And if you live in the south like I do, I have experienced MUCH thicker accents. Remember that this is set in rural, rural, RURAL Louisianna. Hell, I have a few people here in Charleston proper I can only understand half the time. Is a chicken omelette redundant?

On my way home from the barn yesterday, there was this man driving his tractor with the bucket in the front. And in the bucket were his 5 kids ages 3-10. They were dressed in nothing but shorts mostly, and waving to everyone driving by and having a grand time. Musta been the red-neck baby stroller! Is a chicken omelette redundant? -
