I don't know Viking? Hmmmm, I watched that lad do his AFF in Otay. If I wasn't injured *I* woulda given him his first kiss pass! Ron Howard - tongue in cheek of course. And although he's a "hound" I don't think he'd ever act on it. ha! Is a chicken omelette redundant?

I get butterflies in my stomach on every walk to the plane. Some are big, some are small, but all are real. I just remind myself what my AFF instructor Bonnie told me "You should always get butterflies, you'll just learn to LOVE butterflies." Is a chicken omelette redundant?

D'oooh. Um, like Kate's thread. (sheepishly hiding in the back booth feeling like an idiot) Is a chicken omelette redundant?

Looking at their website I see it from last night: THE 2003 WORLD STUNT AWARDS June 15th as the next showing. 9 AM EST Their official website sponsored by red bull. Is a chicken omelette redundant?

Anyone catch the stunt man/person awards show last night? I was flipping channels just in time to see their tribute to Harry O'Conner (sp?) who died last year filming a skydiving type scene. They did an *excellent* job portraying his life and career. Way to go USA! Kinda ironic with the whole Jim Rome debauchle. Is a chicken omelette redundant?

Heard from a friend who's gone the past few years that they will not be jumping into it this year. Something about insurance... I could be wrong... Is a chicken omelette redundant?

Actually why does it have to be skydiving? Why not surfing? Or motocross? Whatever sport it is, a healthy relationship will make room for the other's passions - shared or not. I don't surf, but go to the beach every now and then to hang while he surfs. I go to the DZ, just to hang and smell airplane fuel, I don't expect him to go and hang. I agree - it has totally changed my life. When I hit a low bump in the road, I think back to my friends' smiley faces in the air and I feel elated. When I run up into those work-types who intimidate me, I picture myself and a perfect Otter exit at 12-grand and I feel more self-assured. When I think of all the things I've done in my life just_for_me, I think of skydiving. When I feel lost and lonely I remember the love and affection I feel for everyone in my skydiving "family" And for that it has changed my life radically and forever. (shoot - I'm starting to mist up) I'm in a non-skydiving mode at the moment. Not sure when I'll return. And happy to say there's more to life than the DZ. BUT, forever, skydiving will be an important part of who I am. LA* Is a chicken omelette redundant?

Never stop learning... And to follow the zen thread, I always "want" things. But I know that I have all I "need." (shelter, water, food) The longest journey starts with one small step. LA* Is a chicken omelette redundant?

101 word essay on how to arch and keep it
Katzeye replied to WayneRATS's topic in Safety and Training
When I finally figured out a good arch I realized (for me) not everything is relaxed. I keep my glutes tight to push the middle of me down and get a good "box" going with my arms and legs. I think relax is good for AFF, but after that it's body flying that does it. LA* Is a chicken omelette redundant? -
Are farts supposed to be heavy? heheh Is a chicken omelette redundant?

Living in San Diego we get some awsome mexican food, and tequila. I ripped one that made MY eyes water AND claimed it! Crack that door! heh Let's remember the basics: As we climb in altitude, the pressure causes the gases in our bodies to expel. Some burp, others fart. It can't be helped. If the ladies out there (and I'm one) do not understand this, and their sensitivies are damaged, I suggest putting your face in your helmet during such occurences. It's a natural bodily function - get over it. LA* Is a chicken omelette redundant?

I vote NOT If I wanted to kiss a muff I'd date a girl. Ugh - Goutees, I just don't get it. Is a chicken omelette redundant?

I'm a firm believer in clear goggles. I like to see the eyeballs of whom I'm jumping with, since 90% of our communication up there is through the "windows to the soul" Is a chicken omelette redundant?
