I was at my sister's wedding today. Wonderful event!! Got closer to my family again after my mother's death from cancer. When I talked to my family...even cousins about my skydiving...they are very supportive. Nobody seems to have a negative thought about it. In fact, they all say "You're brave" I told my aunt about it...the peaceful feeling during the whole thing, and I told her that we dont think about the fear of jumping out the door,..cuz that's what we look forward to!! But it's the making sure our equipment is working properly & such...once we're at the door...it's "1, 2, GO!!" But it's landing the canopy...i want to learn how to do it at high speed....that's way cool!! Anyway...I re-connected with "some" of my siblings today...and it was great! Now, I'm looking forward to some kick ass skydiving tomorrow!!! It is SOO awesome to have a family that say they have tried it but not for them...but that it's cool that i do it. I also have family who have NOT tried but would like to. What you "think" you cannot do ...you CAN if you "think" about it

Yeah, too bad Gore wasn't in office, we (US government) would have appologized by noon on 09/11 for having our Twin Towers in the way of their terrorist aircraft. Then he would have downsized our military even more, maybe disbanded the Navy...sure what a guy... Ok...not gonna beat a dead horse...we got the Asshole Bush for better or worse...(4 years only..hint hint) BUT I truly believe that things woud have been status quo..the "threat" of a bombing may have been imminent...but the actual bombing & what not was due to Bush's arrogance & stupidity What you "think" you cannot do ...you CAN if you "think" about it

I know this is not the topic of this post...but for all it's worth...gay, lesbian or straight...we are all family no matter what the sexual preference...or for that matter, ethnicity, religion, or any other differences we may have... one thing we ALL have in common...we LOVE skydiving!! Ok...so, we all thought the Bay Area was gonna get hit with more rain today, including SkyDance in Davis. However, as luck may have it...we had beautiful blue skies!! Unfortunately, I had some serious grocery shopping to do at Costco. For those of you who are familiar with Costco..the first thing is to be fortunate enuff to find a "good" parking spot. Then...once you're in the store...you have to dodge those starved individuals who absolutely have to park their cart in your path...causing a traffic jam...just so they can "taste" the newest item on the shelves! And then they stay there so they can have seconds!! LOL Then...there is the check out line!! Patience is a virtue!! Can anyone say "BOOBIES?" Perhaps the line would move quicker! But, then you have the member who is "no longer a member" causing more delays. Then you of course, once you're all checked out... TRY TO FIND YOUR CAR!! Ok...enuff said... My excuse is that because of the unforseen blue skies...my necessary trip to Costco...I lossed out on a couple of jumps today. I want to do more than one in one day....like 2 or 3, or more!! It's the better thing to do!! Anyhooo, I'm bitching....OMG...i said the "B" word!! LOL What you "think" you cannot do ...you CAN if you "think" about it

That really sucks!! Too much security & shit lately!! On the one hand...that's good....but on the other hand...for small aircrafts...that's just too much security crap, not much freedom there. What you "think" you cannot do ...you CAN if you "think" about it

That was VERY well said, Gary! Freedom of speech...and if you dont like what you see...dont read it...flip the station...ignore everything... then you become ignorant to everything around you.
