  1. What the hubbies can't see from 8,000 below won't hurt them! ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  2. I'm hoping (sort of) that it's just something like OCD. Perhaps that makes more sense. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  3. Seriously though, has anyone ever dealt with or been around people who were diagnosed as schizophrenic. I know my biological mom was but I don't know any real details about her or her disorder. Past few weeks I've just been feeling strange. I've tried to accredit it to the deaths occuring in my "communities" but the old problems of cyclical thinking which leads to depression and such have seemed to become worse. Hell, sometimes I just have a thought process out of nowhere that's like nothingness followed by "Am I going crazy? I am losing it. What the hell?" more nothingness and then i try to refocus on whatever I had in mind prior to that. Don't mean to be bothersome I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with this crap in friends or family. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  4. Well I bought my car used a little over a year ago. It's on a 26 month note. Didn't have a choice. I would never buy new and I had to get into something more reliable than my Volvo. 2 Months after I got rid of it, I got a letter from a tow company saying that they had possession of the car for the past 30-45 days (I don't remember exactly) and were going to sell it off. Whoever got it after me (i used it to pay for the "processing fee") apparently had it lay over on them and I guess they figured they were done with it and left it on the highway. So it was good that I got into my "new" car. Had 50k miles on it, the lots of maintenance (not repair) in it's vehicle history at our Saturn store, and it was clean. I picked it off the service drive before it even went through the shop for the post trade recon/detail (so I didn't have to pay for all the recon work) It was a good buy. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  5. Oh it's an option. It's ALWAYS an option. Of course, there must be pictures, or it didn't happen. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  6. Probably not. At least compared to me. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  7. 2nd bump. Must mention that this weekend would be my first available weekend to head up to the DZ. { It's lonely in this thread } ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  8. This is troof. You're not alone MagicGuy. I've only done one tandem and just the thought of being able to go through AFF has me motivated to save money for it. The only time I'm not thinking about it is when I'm performing some task at work. But that's only momentary and then I'm back to it. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  9. Well it goes like this... "Women do it for the emotional bond".... "Men do it for the sense of power/dominance".... .... .... .... Yeah right. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  10. I'm wondering what ever happened to that corrective procedure where they used weights to change the shape of your cornea. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  11. I can't compare with 20 poll options for sure. Levels of coverage are important but I was just trying to get a demographic of the prices paid. I figured some people would chime in with their coverages. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  12. Sorry sorry. You know how American's are. "There is us, and everyone else!" ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  13. I had images of a bigger dog just because an uncle of mine had a medium-large sized mut who had one of his front legs shot off. He did well for quite a while but as he gained weight from not being as active, the other front leg started giving out. He eventually got to where he couldn't walk so they put him down. But he was a great dog 4 legs or not. I was just thinking "Man I hope she didn't get a larger three-legged dog." ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  14. Hah. "Expensive" cars just inflame an already big number. Even liability when I was 17 on a 84 Dodge Ram was $112. My 87 Volvo 240D was no better with liability. Switching insurance companies would be a joke. I'd have to get on my own policy (riding my parents right now) and premiums for single car, no house, etc are stout. Of course I was leaving room for some of our forum people who have ticket problems. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  15. Just got a letter from my insurance company yesterday letting me know my premium has changed to about $102/mo for full coverage on my 2000 Saturn LS1. Down from $143 w00t! More money towards AFF! How much are you paying and what kind of car do ya drive? ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  16. Sounds to me like just another level of crap to go wrong. Exaggeration for effect. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!

  20. I had that belief for a while. But I found futility in not looking for the purpose of something coming around. After a couple years of that, I stopped caring whether something comes around or not ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
  21. One is a lifestyle choice, one is an insult. The insult often being targeted towards people who choose the lifestyle. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!

  25. The irony being that they are supposed to be heard. It's always a problem until the time comes when it saves someone's life. We have at least one for every square mile in the Moore/OKC area and even then it still takes a moment to actually hear the thing. ---------------------------------------- 6.8% - Almost there!
