You could definitely hook it up, but i dont recommend doing it. the risers on a modern paraglider are ment to be attached at the hips for more effective weight shift control. a paraglider is ment to be controled primarily by this weight shift with the brakes ment to keep the glider pressurized and for landing. this creates two problems when connecting the wing to a skydiving style harness. first is the brake travel. you would have to significantly lengthen the brake lines to fly normaly. the second is while you can still wheight shift a skydiving harness it is nowhere near what you can do from a paragliding harness.
if you really want to get into ground launching i recommend going with a dedicated speedflying wing like the gin nano or just launching your main. you will get lots better glide out of the nano though. if you want to paraglide you should go get lessons. you can get into trouble quickly trying to teach yourself and while it is a ram air canopy its a totally different ball game.
