I've been jumping in SE Michigan. Any experienced CReW dawgs in Michigan?

I've just about got my A (after 36 jumps) and wanted to know what the general consensus is among CReW dawgs as to when starting CReW is a "good" idea. I've looked through the SIM and haven't found any real good experience guidelines other than Be Familiar with your Canopy and Be Fairly Accurate with your landings. And what to wear. I was kind of figuring after 100 jumps and at least 50 on the old CReW canopy I'm just starting to jump was a good target before I go looking for it...
