I had a W8 Ext for several years now. When I bought it I had a Xfire 2 124 and a PD143. It was a snug very nice fit. Now I have a Leia 89h that also fits nicely in it. I know these canopies have a bit more material but anything over a 150 could be an issue.

At Skydive Big Sky we had a Navajo and now there is a Chieftain Navajo. Vancouver Skydive runs a Navajo. Depending on what kind of pictures you are looking for I might be able to help you. PM me if interested.

I have been using it for years on my android phones. Like Ian said it, they haven't had an update in quite sometime but it works well as is. I do link it to my Dropbox and and backup after every weekend I use it in case it decides to quit. The procedure is very simple.

Why and how did you start skydiving?
brwonder replied to omrig102's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Saw a special on TV when I was 14 with the Freefly Clowns. In Brazil the minimum was 15. On my birthday I started asking my parents to sign for it and after 2 months they gave up and I got consent. The FJC was a week long course, on Saturday we packed the parachutes and on Sunday we jumped. That was late August 1993. My first 6 jumps were on rounds (T10s, TUs and PCs). I still remember most of it in detail. -

Early this season I replace one of my GoPro Hero with a Hero 2 on my handcam setup. A couple weeks ago I was bored one evening and decided to update the GoPro Hero 2.... (let's not get how unnecessary that was). Now it's frozen.... I followed every step. Now when I start it shows the video camera image -> changes to the home screen (The one with info and video quantities) but nothing works. I have to remove the battery to re restart it. I have been reading online but nothing suggested worked. I even tried installing a previous firmware but I couldn't get to work. I would appreciate any help.... even pointing me to a website that might have an answer. Thanks

I did a few CRW jumps in the past on borrowed gear but I am now a set together for myself but I am missing some parts. Where would be a good place to start? I tried the classifieds but what I looking for is not there. I need a set of risers (That I might just get a rigger to put blocks on an old set) and I also need toggles. Thanks

What do you do for Stills?

Is anyone using AS cameras for shooting handcam? I recently broke my GoPros and I have been looking for replacement for my tandem setup. I currently have a AS15 that would do video just fine and thought that the new AS100 could be used for stills (Am I correct to think that they do 2 secs intervals?). Cookie makes a handmount for a single Sony AS only. Maybe modifiable to fit two cameras. My other thought is if is there any handcams that does video and pics on 2 seconds intervals?

I was looking for while and a friend of mine got a dealership for http://www.skylark.ua/en/ earlier this years. I ordered a FF suit and actually was impressed with the quality and cost. Mostly because I didn't want to spend another $600 on a suit that as much as I take care still gets beat-up. The designs are simple but the materials were pretty good and stitching/sizing was great. If I wasn't worried about cost http://www.verticalsuits.com/ has an excellent product. I had a Liquidsky and was also great. The top brands have great products but you pay for it. Check what your instructors were wearing, they spend a lot of time in the air and for sure they will have an opinion.

I have been jumping mine for a few weeks now. I like it quite a bit. The 120fps makes for some cool shots. I have it mounted on my G3 with a cookie side mount. Its ok, the visor vibrates a little but Cookie have given me a few tips. I use 2 gopros for tandem handcam and I wish the AS15 had shorter than 5 seconds picture setting. The user interface is also quite simple. I had the wifi active but it rains the battery too fast. I find it in many ways similar to the Hero 3 but since my PC350 I am a fan of Sony's.

Cookie came out with a sleeve for the case.... check the Fuel helmet pictures. Chutingstar told me they will have them in stock by next month -
I did that last year. I had to use filler to mount it to the zkulls connector. I could post a pic if you would like.

I had a 180. When there was no wind there was a good chance I had to PLF. It was the first canopy I owned and I thought was good until I bought a Sabre 170. Would I fly it today? Probably not.

It was a cold day in the winter (Canada) and I got lazy. I bought a game online ( I rarely pay with anything other than Paypal), now I regret it. I just got my fist phishing message.

I got a GFX a few years ago and I am not impressed with it. I had to get it fix twice and still giving me incorrect readings. It seams to work fine for certain disciplines but not for wing suiting. I've tried to have it on my wrist, helmet, inside pocket, outside pocket... it just doesn't seam to work right. I've sent it to the manufacturer and it came back with the same issues. They claimed to be in order. My friend bought one right after me and the alarm doesn't work anymore. I also have two Pro-Ditters and a Solo. And they work great. I am very impressed with L&B customer service. Had to deal with them a few times and every time top notch service. I've been hard in some of my gear. I advise you to when choosing it do some research on the manufactures customer service. I also heard great things about the Neptunes.
