  2. Winter sucks in the UK, my local dz's been shut for the last month so i haven't been able to jump much. On the plus side i've saved enough to buy my first rig, jumpsuit and plane tickets out to cali in a month. Sweet! I hope everyone else is having just a good a winter! Blues, James
  3. Hi guys! Thanks for all your help. My friend had decided to hold off his aff until we go out to Elsinore in march. He is abit worried about currency issues and want to be sure that he can do his whole aff at one time (we are only out there for a few days) Still lets wait and see if he still feels the same way after his first tandem! Thanks for your help again. Stay Safe, James

  5. Cheers for the replies. Sorry wrote that post in abit of a hurry. It will be in December. Not committed to Empuriabrava at all, i'm not fussed as long as i can jump. It would be cool if i could finish off my warp coaching too.
  6. Hi everyone! I was wondering if any AFFI's (BPA if possible) were going to be out at Empuriabrava between the 6th-9th as i have a friend who wants to start jumping and we are going to be going over to the DZ for a couple of days. He wants to get a few jumps in if possible. Unfortunately the DZ only seems to have a course running from the 5th and we will be arriving later that night. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Blues, James
  7. As far as i know this is the highest balloon jump / skydive recorded, however i could quite easily be wrong. Not sure it counts as a regular skydive but it would be one hell of a ride. http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/aerodynamics/q0243.shtml
  8. Sweet! Cheers for your help guys, gonna head down to my DZ this weekend and chat with the owners. Hopefully get it all booked in a couple of weeks. Once again cheers for the responses.
  9. Hi guys, I'm a real newbie to skydiving, i did a tandem and loved every second of it. Ive got a bit of tunnel time under my belt and more booked. I want to do AFF and am really tempted to go to California to do it, get a holiday out of it too!
