An instructor got me to do a static line (sit down) exit on the mock up while he described to the class what I was doing. As I'm about to push off a girl actually asked, "What happens if you fall out?" Kinda the point love! At the Uni sports fare the other club members and I were getting pretty tired of the standard whuffo questions and my friend decided to play with the next one. She walks up and says she's interested in jumping but her friend told her, "If she pulled too high she would go into space". So we corrected her by saying she wouldn't go into space. But the main cause of fatalities in the sport is people pulling too high and going up to about 40k and suffocating/freezing. She actually did made a jump after that (I think an instructor may have set her straight).

A waste of perfectly good jump ticket money!

Oh there are some good ones though. I've been asked if you pull too high do you go into space? Do you bury your parachute? An instructor asked my to a static line door exit on a 206 mock up. I transfered over to uk para from Errol. When I got there everybody was friendly and made me feel right at home. They have navigators for students and as somebody who's only flown mantas before, WOW! The ride to altitude in the nomad was a LOT shorter than in a 182 and I could feel my legs :) The only down side was the first weekend I went there there were loads of aff students so it took a while to get my docs sorted/refreshers/briefs etc. So if you are a raps student who wants to change DZ's I'd get everything sorted on a weekday when it's quieter. All in all an awesome DZ.

I'm thinking about getting my own rig but have a question. If I buy a new zp canopy, say a sabre 2, how many jumps will it last before it needs to be relined (roughly)?

I had a dream before my first free fall that everything went perfectly... Now all I have to do is nail it in the real world.

3 sec delay. I jumped out and then there was a canopy over me and a rip cord in my hand so it must have gone well. The guys watching me said they never saw somebody do so many rolls in 3 secs.

It's a long story to do with spyware. Some guy in hong kong stole my details via spyware on my pc. Then used them to start loads of dodgy financial goings on. I got my money back, but I'm a lot more careful about where I put info about me.

Hi, I was just wondering what the risk is on a line dump. I just saw a video of a tandem's main lines dumping on deployment. But the main still came out fine.

I noticed on www.ndgames.ru there is a demo for authorised users. Which got me wondering if you plan to release the demo to the general public at all.
