It was a bit different for me...my girlfriend and I were thrown out of bed(we were at her place, in Northridge)...and when the shaking stopped and the roof hadn't caved in...we went back to bed... funny thing was when we woke up in the morning, we both thought it had been a dream... Mike

Possibly...it just depends on how fast the mechanics working on my plane work.. As of right now, I'm not leaving until Sat morning.. I'm staying at a hotel southwest of the airport a mile or two, right on I-70....right next to a big Harley dealer! I went in a drooled all over a bunch of their bikes today...maybe they won't kick me out when i show up tomorrow to do it again... Mike

That's it, exactly....I once put a dead trout under the back seat in a friends car....unfortunately(for him), it was about 3 hours before he parked his car at the airport and took a 2 week trip...and left his car sitting in the sun....in Florida....in August... Yea, paybacks are a bitch....between that and putting a stink bomb in his full face scuba mask(that he doesn't use until decompression time, about halfway through a 3 hour dive) that would start smelling as soon as he pulled the strap tight after donning the mask.....I paid him back for what he did to piss me off.. Half the time when I talk to somebody when I'm at work, they ask where I am......I have to look at the phone in the hotel room to see what city I'm in... If we're at the FBO, sometimes I even have to ask the girls at the desk what city I'm in.....they give me funny looks, but say they "hear it all the time from you guys". Mike

Check Avis, Alamo, Dollar, and Budget. I've never had any kind of in state only restriction when renting in Florida....not with any of the companies. They may be adding those restrictions to limit rentals since there will be so many people renting for Sun'n'Fun. Mike
