if you buy a new container have them make the main tray for a 170. that way you can cram a 190 in for a while then go 170, then if it ever happens a couple hundred jumps from now then you could go to a 150. But I'm a newb too so i'm just letting you know what my rigger had me do. from 230-210-190 if i get there in the future ANDY

Pisa Sonic 190 Does ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING?
Dangerousmind86 replied to Dangerousmind86's topic in Gear and Rigging
Just purchased a nearly new, 11 jumps used, Pisa Sonic 190. It is my understanding they are of slightly elliptical shape, open a little hard and that they pack a little large due to some pretty hardcore ZP material used. I did a search and checked out gear reviews and basicly got nothing. So Lets Hear IT! It'll be loaded 1.2/1 so any ideas flight characteristics? Oh and 450 shipped is a good deal yes? Come on people!!!! ANDY -
Thank you! I guess there is a reason you are a moderator. Best simple advice I've heard all week!

Argus ADD Lets Talk Quality!!!
Dangerousmind86 replied to Dangerousmind86's topic in Gear and Rigging
You guys came through with this post. I appreciate it very much. Thanks alot and I think I'll do some more research. Alot of people are telling me that I need to buy a proven unit. So I probably will. Yet how old does a manufacuturer need to be to be "proven"? Thanks again --Andy-- ANDY -

Argus ADD Lets Talk Quality!!!

Looking into buying an Argus Brand AAD and would like some comments. I know an ADD is really the best way to go for the sport so i figure I should get one and the argus as self replacable batteries? What say you all? ANDY -
Ya my rigger will be looking at it this weekend when I take my 2nd 45 second on my way through my liscence. All I have left to buy now is a main and I'm looking for a newer Saber2 210. Brand new Wings container with articulated hips. And all the goodies was only 1200$ ( I had a half off coupon!!) My Havok helmet really kicks some ass and I'm really rearing to jump! Thanks guys! Come on now thirty people have looked and ONLY TWO POSTED! lets do this! I just purchase a 1999 PD193R from the classifieds that has only 7 repacks and one "lowspeed" deployment. I've read nothing but awesome things for the pd reserve canopies. But what I really would like to know is how much a deployment affects the integrity of a reserve canopy. Barely? A little? A lot? Not at all? Almost finished setting up my first rig and would like some oppinions. Thanks to all that can help! Oh and was 700$ shipped a good deal? ANDY

I'm taking a long road trip along the entire United States. I'm planning on visiting every costal state in the lower 48. I'll be leaving in a few months to come and I'm bringing my rig with me. I'm young and want to explore a little before I have to work for a living lol! There will be a lot of driving involved and I am serious about jumping every dropzone in every U.S. border state. From Washington down California; over to Florida; I wont forget Arizona; and up to New York. From there it's a straight shot back home. I know the Dropzone.com community is huge so if you live in any of the coastal states or a U.S. border state could you hook me up with your home DZ's name and address? I will be plotting them on a map for my trip and any info would be awesome! Any and all Name's, phone#'s, address' and dropzones home state would be totally helpful. Please don't think this is bogus. I've saved up 5k for this trip and I'm leaving as soon as my lease is up. Thanks to all that can help! ANDY
