When landing off the dropzone...

Let's all make friends with the locals... we have brought beer to our local farmers if they had a bunch of jumpers land there. It helps. Just sayin'. Remember, you are trespassing. Team Flew-id Making freefall pretty since 1998 -

This one is hilarious to watch, especially since there is usually one team that pulls ahead, and someone traditionally runs interference, in the form of female distraction techniques. Use your imagination... Team Flew-id Making freefall pretty since 1998

Hi Wendy! Merriah Eakins here... yes the student olympics is an event I created to celebrate the students, and to encourage more interaction between students and up jumpers. Since the students are matched with an experienced jumper for each event, I've found that those same students are often being invited on skydives the very next day! Luke bascially stated the events that we've been doing, and if you have any questions, please feel free to PM me, and I'll help you anyway that I can! ps... I knew I recognized your name... I'm on the CRW dog email list too! Merriah

Just wondering if any of you happen to have a copy of Dale Stuart's "The Aerial Freestyle Guidebook" that you are willing to sell. It is out of print, and I have a promising new freestylist that I've been working with. I would like to get her a copy! Thank you! Merriah -
So far these are the people I think will be at nationals: Team Flew-id Trinity (out of CSC) Robot Lords (Eloy) Tiffany (I forget her team name, Eloy) Delirium (maybe, out of Palatka) Nina (new team, out of Florida) Should be extra fun! Hang out spot for the freestyle teams is usually the Flew-id tent! Merriah Team Flew-id Making freefall pretty since 1998

Nothing comes to mind, other than some good waffle prints on my butt from the grate on top of the beacon... So rug burn doesn't count, but what about runway burn? The painted numbers are a bit smoother... Team Flew-id Making freefall pretty since 1998

May I recommend the Skimmer Freefly Suit? She has made a hybrid suit (RW spandex back, Supplex on the rest) that makes it very easy to move in, very comfortable, and very fitted. Her prices are way more reasonable too. She's out of Minnesota. PM me or email kmfreefly@msn.com if you would like more info. These suits are so flexible, I can do freestyle in them! Besides what Rigger said, why wouldn't you want it inspected? If the owners rigger actually marked off the boxes each time it would have to be at least 13 years old (by old US regulations) Karl

Skydive Chicago VFS Team PLEASE HELP US WITH A NAME...
kmfreefly replied to body_pilot's topic in Freeflying
Hello Gentlemen, Read this thread earlier, and a couple ideas popped in my head: SDC Harmonic or Harmonik The musician in me thought of the highest tones achieved on guitar... also harmony ties in with the spread the love philosophy at Skydive Chicago. SDC Intrinsic or Intrinsick Your team possesses some innate abilities in the air, as if you were all born with it... can't wait to see what you will do! Good luck to you all! Merriah ps Say hello to Noah for me, it's been a long time... Team Flew-id Making freefall pretty since 1998 -
A quick note for anyone interested in doing freestyle for fun or competition this year... I have created a couple of documents to help fellow toe-pointers, and will make them available to anyone who asks! The first is for the beginning freestylist, to help discover new moves to try. The second is a list of tips to help with the compulsories used in competition. Just PM or email me, and I will be very happy to help! Merriah Team Flew-id Making freefall pretty since 1998
