I would like to say that 6 of my jumps are tandems and the other 3 are part of my AFF course. I don't expect to be on the radio forever. I had minimal radio contact yesterday but was not comfortable and did not like that feeling.

Oh, I know what my problem is. I have a terrible flare. Obviously I am not a strong as I thought I was! But I will ask at the DZ next time I go. I don't think anyone will have a problem with that. They are a great bunch of people!

I have a twin......believe me sometimes it's better to just thinking of cloning yourself. Don't do it.....don't do it! But I do like myself better then my twin!

They could certainly use a lot of work. Canopy control scares the crap out of me and I screwed up yesterday. I'm pretty stable in freefall so I ony have half of it to work on. As soon as the canopy opens that is when the "oh shit" mode sets in. Honestly I am up there thinking now what am I suppose to do! But I had two good jumps yesterday and two hard landings. I found my way back, turned into another jumper (thought I had enough room) and did not land where I was suppost to but I'm still here and ready to jump again! Now on to Cat D.

I didn't start jumping till June. My girls are 13 and 7. They really like the idea. My younger one has no intentions of going but likes to go to the DZ. My older daughter really wants to and talks of us one day being able to jump together. Me.....I have alot of work to do. If I keep landing like I did yesterday then I may get hurt and decide to quit. I don't really see that happening. But I am the only one who skydives in the family. -
Don't you know you should never hold and baby and drink a beer at the same time............or maybe that is what's making you drink the beer! Get some sleep!

So when are you thinking it will be finished? This would be a great weekend trip for us. Much closer then Florida! Only 4 1/2 hours for me!

Have you ever looked up dork in the dictionary? My daughter was horrified when she did. And I have never heard it from her again!lol

You paid your electric bill because that could be number 3 and you wouldn't be able to log on to complain to us here! Hope it gets fixed soon.

I have had dreams about skydiving but they were all good. Can't really remember what they were about. But my daughter has come up to me about scary dreams of me getting hurt. Pretty vivid ones. She still wants me to go and wants to go to the DZ with me but says it is really scary. She is 7.

I spend my days reading to first graders and tutoring 2nd grade math. I have been doing this for 9 years. The pay is great........to see a child who couldn't tell you the letters of the alphabet to a reader in 10 months. Or a child who couldn't tell you the difference between a dime and a quarter now count a handfull of change! It's a great feeling. All volunteer work. I quit my last job to be a stay-at-home mom. I use to work for UPS.

I would have to say I am rather spoiled. My father has paid for my course and I am a stay-at-home mom so I do have the option to go whenever I want if someone is there. My travel time is about 45 minutes. So my only complaint is me being impatient! I just want to jump but want to do it safely. So off to the dropzone we go again this weekend! Hopefully I am able to brave the cold!

14 mph. My instructor asked me if I knew what the winds were suppose to be. I told him yes, but was hoping they would die down a bit. Pick up a SIM manual. It helped me tremendously! My husband downloaded it from the net, you can too.

Yeah, I will be in Suffolk this weekend. Now I am wondering what the temps will be! A little chillier then last weekend but it won't be so windy! Anyone going to Suffolk on Saturday?
