First off thanks for all the info guys and gals. My jump in Hawaii was with Pacific Skydiving and it was from 13.5 with an instructor with 22k jumps. I forgot his name, but he told me he has been spending his life just going around the world jumping and teaching jumping when he needs money. The pre jump brief was.... brief, but since i was just riding and couldnt affect the outcome either way it wasnt too too bothering.

Hey all i am seriously considering starting up and i would appreciate any advice be it where to take classes or (especially) equipment. I would of couse like to spend as little money as possible but need good gear. I just took my first jump on the north shore of hawaii and im hooked. Currently living in rochester, ny.
