I think that was a trick by Robi. A suit which you have to actively try to slow down for flocking. "Ha take that flockers!" Thanks Robi, now you have made it even harder to decide between a Ghost 2 and a new Phantom. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

The cinescore that comes with Vegas Movie Studio 9 is a plug-in and only includes a limited number of themes. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

One thing I noticed is the lag time to adjust the exposure. Are there some special settings I should use to help speed it up? Also, it seems the exposure is always a bit off. Any ideas. Here is some footage to get an idea http://www.skycanyonws.com/media.html My settings CX100 w/ Century .55x and B&W UV Haze filter on the front Manual focus Auto Exposure X.V. Color on Auto White balance Auto scene I don't know if I am forgetting any. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

Robi told me he likes to use an old Classic 2 for when he really wants to haul ass across the sky. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

I put together a little video with some footage from Flock & Dock 5.0 This may tide you over until the real camera guys get their footage up. Keep in mind this is my first time owning a video camera, First time jumping with a camera, First time editing with Premier Pro, And First time posting a video online. Hope you like it. http://www.skycanyonws.com/media.html Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

Well here I sit. Bored out of my mind. I guess I will just have to wait til tomorrow to jump. See you guys when you get here. Who all is going to be jumping tomorrow? Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

With that setting on it must be controlled by the Hypeye. I have the camera in front of me. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

Without the Hypeye you have to open the LCD and flip it around so it is exposed. Even with a sleeve I would still worry about something impacting the LCD. Maybe just my nerves. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

181 in 1 year isn't all that much. How many months are we talking? Jumping around between disciplines isn't really productive this early in a jumping career either. But what I do I know, I didn't start wingsuiting until well after 200 jumps and I stayed in the loser RW discipline for the first 300 or so jumps. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

I couldn't find it either. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

Ha I was just thinking what a CX-100 would look like on a tripod. Anyway, you don't always have to wait for the song to end. You can find a lull in the music and fade down from there. Just a thought. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

Whuffos / How would you describe skydiving?
mnskydiver688 replied to Tuna-Salad's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You don't. The best and only way to describe it is in their OWN words. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters -
Keep in mind that some of the most meaningful photos to people are ones taken on the ground. So never discount ground shots in skydiving. Half the fun happens on the ground!

About how many jumps is a canopy good for?
mnskydiver688 replied to Tuna-Salad's topic in Gear and Rigging
Doesn't that depend on the size of the HMA lines? 300 HMA won't last as long as 500 HMA or 750 HMA correct? Sky Canyon Wingsuiters -
Because when those suits were made they were still learning. Those were old suits. Classic 2's and Maybe some GTI's Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

I don't know, my S-6 sure seems to get "puffy". Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

With wingsuit flying I use a mudflap mounted Neptune and a Pro-Dytter. When doing RW I throw a wrist mounted analog on as well. One thing to consider with the digital is if you wear polarized sunglasses, it will make the screen unreadable at certain angles in addition readability issues associated with sun position. I like the digital on the mudflap, because when under canopy I can quick glance down at it and keep an eye on the ground and area in front of me, instead of looking up at my hand holding the toggle. Also it is much lower profile than an analog mounted on the mudflap. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

My understanding is the cuffs on the T-Bird and other Tony Suits, are elastic and stretch allowing the sleeve to slide down your arm. Because of the suits inflation the cuff stays by your wrist while flying however. Sky Canyon Wingsuiters

Gear manufacturers aren't perfect. Why after many years of the same form factor of a sport rig, why are there mandatory service bulletins? Mistakes CAN ALWAYS kill you, but that doesn't mean mistakes WILL ALWAYS kill you. When everything goes well you learn what works, but you become ignorant to what may work better. How long did customs take?
mnskydiver688 replied to mnskydiver688's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I am waiting to receive my Cookie helmet and I was just wondering about people's experiences with US Customs and how long it took for your item to make it through. Thoughts? Edit: This does not include packages sent via private companies (FedEx, DHL, etc.) Sky Canyon Wingsuiters -
I am so glad I took getting the rating seriously... Sky Canyon Wingsuiters
