Very seriously: what kind of information or evidence would it take for you to not consider torture, including water-boarding, to be a policy of the US Government? /Marg For some people, there is absolutely no amount of evidence that will convince them.

Do you have equal respect for the leader of Iran when he denies the holocost or says that Isreal should be wiped off the map?

Without question. If you don't possess the common sense to understand the crowd your speaking to - at huge detriment to your reputation and career, you're an idiot. A proud graduate of the Steve Stiffler school of public speaking, but still an idiot. Very sad. Not really. Just how it is.

She got a total softball of a question and managed to kill her career with it. She's in a room where there probably aren't 5 straight guys and I would bet dollars to doughnuts she is an aspiring actress (aren't they all). I couldn't help but be reminded about the guy on Grey's Anatomy (I think that's the show) who said some inappropriate things about homosexuals and lost his job and seemingly, his career. Then she goes on TV and says she was being "biblically correct". Even worse. If she was actually being "biblically correct", she would be calling for the execution of homosexuals, as it does in the bible. While I have to respect her honesty and her faith, what an idiot.

What is Skype? Google is your friend. What is Google?

Sorry, that's not right. It's a capacitive sensor, no heat involved. Read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touchscreen#Capacitive I will agree that a majority of the people probably used the speeddial and accidently hit someone else's name. I have had zero issues with unlocking/dialing when i didn't intend to. .jim I stand corrected and convinced that the salesman was a douche.

What is Skype?

Just added the netflix app. The cool gadget factor is nearly off the charts.

You can lock the phone, but again, the touch screen works with the heat of your finger. If you touch the face of the iphone with a coin, nothing happens. Not sure how it would even be possible to pants dial.

I have: iHandy Level: I actually use this to level my trailer Shazam: cool Urbanspoon: not too bad iChess: I suck at chess and an oil and gas app I use for work. Seriously wanting: Sirius: hopefully soon to be released app that streams Sirius.
-
Nope. Requires the heat from your finger to work, so you can't randomly pants dial. eta: I just put mine in my pocket. Also, I believe I was the vice president of your I hate apple club, because my zen was better than my ipod, but I will have to admit I haven't seen a phone even remotely close to the iphone. I will give mine up when it is pulled from my cold dead hand.

Sounds remarkably like a PhillyKev episode. The PhillyKev version would have strippers.

I was looking for the starter end type. The two things consumer reports was big on was the space its going in and the difference in sound quality for the money. Interestingly enough, consumer reports rated a pioneer system that was around $650 the best buy. It was one of those "out of the box" deals. I would have bought that one except I didn't really have anywhere to mount the rear speakers and I didn't want to run wire so I ended up buying the bose system. It was $300 more but no wire to run and no rear speakers. Sound quality is awesome. I get compliments on it all the time. On the higher end, a neighbor of mine just did a bose throughout his entire house, garage, and backyard. Its crazy nice with unbelievable sound everywhere, but he also paid a fortune for it.

I checked out consumer reports when I bought mine. I was very surprised at their reviews and thoughts and what they considered to be a best buy.

In extremely general terms, that is correct. However, in the case of: - a false or fraudulent return - a willful attempt to evade tax, or - failure to file a return Tax may be assessed or a court proceeding to collect tax may be commenced at any time. Also, the 10 year limitation on collections is extended by a levy on any of the taxpayer's property, which is what almost always happens. So the thought (although it may not be what you were implying) that you can get away with paying interest only for 10 years and then the problem will go away is incorrect.
-
Extremely unlikely. From the perspective of the IRS, they have an agreement with a taxpayer who has failed to file tax returns, failed to pay taxes, reached an agreement to pay interest only and then tried to get out of it. You can't rework an agreement that doesn't pay off the principle of the outstanding amount due. Failing to perform on an interest only installment agreement is a very, very bad thing.

Depends on what degree you want to buy. I know a few graduates and actually was living with one while she was "getting her degree".

The only naughty thought I'm getting from this thread is: what a waste of time. Typical.

Under what circumstances would a students personal religious beliefs have any bearing on the curriculum of a science class? How would that even be an issue?

The whole movement/agenda makes no sense.... What the article says is that she intends to completely block new development on those lands, but somehow its being called a win-win for conservation and energy interests. How is preventing renewable energy from being generated in the middle of an unused desert a win for anyone? Makes no sense.
-
>Nineteen companies have submitted applications to build solar or wind facilities on a parcel of 500,000 desert acres, but Sen. Dianne Feinstein said Friday such development would violate the spirit of what conservationists had intended when they donated much of the land to the public. Feinstein said Friday she intends to push legislation that would turn the land into a national monument, which would allow for existing uses to continue while preventing future development. >It would destroy the entire Mojave Desert ecosystem," said David Myers, executive director of The Wildlands Conservancy. >"This is unacceptable," Feinstein said in a letter to Interior Secretary Ken Salazar. "I urge you to direct the BLM to suspend any further consideration of leases to develop former railroad lands for renewable energy or for any other purpose." >But Karen Douglas, chairman of the California Energy Commission, said Feinstein's proposal could be a "win-win" for energy and conservation. The governor's office said Douglas was speaking on the administration's behalf. "The opportunity we see in the Feinstein bill is to jump-start our own efforts to find the best sites for development and to come up with a broader conservation plan that mitigates the impact of the development," Maybe its just me, but the article doesn't really make any sense.

It means: there will always be a special place for you in my heart, but you have got to go. Love and respect are paramount to a man. You can love someone, but without respect, you can not be with that person.

Reading SC really makes me embarrassed for the public school system in the US.
