  1. I will have to try Vincenso's. Can you roll in there looking like a slob, or is it one of those places that you have to shower before going to?
  2. My boss made the fateful mistake of sending me to work in Lake Elsinore today. Made the first load. Reminded me that there is an awesome Italian restaurant on the main drag in Lake Elsinore called Rusticana. Best Italian food I've ever had, and I've wasted some money on Italian food!
  3. Covering the student's eyes with your hands??? Putting the student in a headlock??? If you are actually serious, you have witnessed some seriously unsafe practices by a very stupid tandem instructor. Once I am under drogue and check my handles, I'll give the cameraman a thumbs up. Thats it for camera geeking. I do wear mirrored sunglasses. One thing I do like to do is grab the students wrists (so I have their hands under mine and in control) and bank them into a turn like an airplane. Looks pretty cool on video. Be safe up there!
  4. There is actually a rule of thumb that I use. If I am interviewing for a management position that I am sure very few people are interviewing for and the process is lengthy, I will avoid it. If I am interviewing for a position that I am sure many people are interviewing for (in the first round) I will throw in a story of how my analytical skills saved my life during a skydive or something similiar. It could be the difference between being asked back for further interviews or forgotten. I would avoid it in later interviews.

    Denver??????

I have lived in Denver and currently live in So. Cal. I can't wait to get back to Denver! It is a very beautiful place. It is growing at an alarming rate however. The people and the pace of life in Denver are the closest to So. Cal of anywhere I've ever been. People are very active, always doing something. Its a wonderful thing.
  6. As you go through the process of downsizing to the canopy size you are going to buy, my rig is also generally available.
  7. Looking forward to it. See you somewhere between here and there.
  8. I had the great fortune of being in the plane on the way up and being on the ground when Molly landed. I think I can put the whole thing into a word. INSPIRATIONAL. Molly's physical recovery is very impressive in itself. Her mental and emotional recovery is nothing short of miraculous. I have never seen someone so terrified face down their fear with the composure and control that Molly had. I have spent a considerable amount of time since that jump contemplating a personality trait that I have which is a tendency to focus on what I think I cannot do. Sometimes we are lucky to have been around people like Molly who are so strong, they can't help but to remind you that you will never really know what you can't do until you have exhausted everything that you can. I can honestly say that jump made me think about my life and all that is yet to be accomplished. It was a rare reminder of what some people are made of and what they can do when they set out to achieve great things. Blue Skies - Welcome Home
