It's like that with a lot of bands now. the old stuff will always be looked at as being the best a band have. a few years ago everyone thought Metallica's load and reload albums were shitty. now look at them compared to St. Anger. haha

Man i remember seeing them back when they were shit rocking the second floor of The Paladium and now look at them. its nice to see guys from your hometown make it big.
