5x=20 x=4 My drinking team has a skydiving problem

I did only 2 tandems because I asked the instructor to tell me why and how he did everything as we went through the jump, freefall and landing. So he really talked about a lot of things as we did it. When I got to the ground I was VERY comfortable with the whole process and really wanted to be in control of all the variables myself. So I signed up for AFF and I am two jumps into it right now. Saturday will be my 3rd AFF jump and I cant wait. But I will tell you the hardest part is jumping out of the plane. Still after 2 tandems and 2 aff jumps its a little nerve racking, but once I am in freefall everything else in the world disappears except for the will to save my own ass if you know what I mean, I love it. Good luck to you, and I hope you dont do any more tandems unless you really need to. Its about comfort. Blue skies! My drinking team has a skydiving problem

Good job on your "A" Jeanna, I am so jealous but in a good way! I would love to jump my brains out but its the $ factor that limits me to a couple jumps a month. Plus I am saving up for a rig of my own, I hate renting gear Blue skies! My drinking team has a skydiving problem

I was always told to do the practice flares at very high altitudes. But 2k feet and below is all about making sure what direction the wind is going, looking for obstacles in the landing zone, etc. But I am in no position to give advise since I am a student, I am simply stating the information given to me. I wish you all luck on your flares and hope for blue skies for us all

Hi Brian, Hope to see you out there sometime

You should try it for sure. I went in for a tandem thinking I would only try it once, but before I even landed I knew I had to do it again. I only have 4 jumps under my belt but I cant wait till weekends after paydays Good luck to you and I hope you give it a shot! My drinking team has a skydiving problem

After reading my last reply I want to clarify that Lodi is, from what I have read and heard, a top notch facility also and I dont want you to think I implied otherwise. I just havent been there yet, but I plan to check it out when I am off student status. I am happy to have two DZ's so close to home. Go Davis and Lodi!

Congrats! Ive done 2 tandems and two aff jumps, with two more jumps comming this weekend! After the second tandem I just had to be the pilot myself because I knew it would be a greater adventure with me behind the toggles! And both of my 1st solo landings were stand up so I am feeling really good so far - wish me luck for this weekend lol. Good luck to you my friend and I wish blue skies and safe landings for us all! Skydance has a great vibe, the people are so friendly and really make it an enjoyable experience. The staff is very knowlegable and professional. They have a full service facility and plenty of space for spectators. Everyone should experience Skydance Skydiving.

Hello all, I am new to dz.com and to skydiving. I did 2 tandem jumps and two aff jumps at Skydance skydiving in Davis. I was hooked on my first tandem. My next jump is this Sat and I cant wait, its all I think about. Why do others think I'm nuts? I think they are nuts for not trying it out at least once. Well thanks for reading my 1st post and I wish blue skies for you all My drinking team has a skydiving problem
