Does your boss get mad you are on dz.com at work?

lol, I can imagine your monitor with the motorcycle style mirrors attached to them. Its pure genius! But that in itself might make your boss question your web surfing practices. My drinking team has a skydiving problem -

I just wanted to see how many people are here when they are at work, and who gets away with it or not. Please tell your stories as I want to laugh! My Boss has seen me on but has never mentioned anything. But that was a boring story -- see why I need you help. lol My drinking team has a skydiving problem -

Tandems, Hurting or helping membership?
pfloyd replied to thedarkside's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
My story sounds similar. I had always wanted to try skydiving because it really seemed like a fun thing to do with maximum thrill. But for some reason or another never got around to it. One day my wife and I ran into a skydiver and he basically talked us into going out to the dz the next day and making our first tandem jumps. It was cool because I would have never thought my wife would be into that, but there we were. We jumped and enjoyed it so much; we decided to jump again the following weekend. After the second jump I was very confident about skydiving and didn't want a dude strapped to my back anymore so I went through AFF and here I am today-- closing in on my "A". I just love how it gets better every jump--and I just learned to pack my own rig so I cant describe how excited I am right now. The weekend seems sooo far ayway! IMO tandems are helping the sport. Do you paint ceilings every day? Seems like painting a ceiling is the same as sleeping on your back. Wont your hand go numb doing your job? My drinking team has a skydiving problem

New AFF students take a look...

Some of the rental gear I have used hurt a lot. This was because the rig was fit for someone much smaller than me. I am 72 inches tall and it wasn't meant to hold someone my height. On the good side I purchased some great used gear from a local @ my dz and he is also 72 inches and same weight. My rig feels awesome and I couldn't believe how comfortable a rig could be until I flew it for the first time. It's a totally different experience and the canopy also flew way better, more responsive and more control. I don't know a lot because I am new to sport myself, but your rental rig may not have been the right size for you. Keep in mind this is only speculation and you need to talk to your instructors, they are the ones who REALLY know what the gear is and is not. They also would rather you be happy and comfortable than sore and mad. Keep with it and you'll get your own comfortable gear soon and be as happy as I am. My drinking team has a skydiving problem -
There are a lot of other places people can get married @. Like a backyard, a rented hall or during a skydive--my fav. So if a church wants to discriminate and lose money then thats their own bad business practice. Besides aren't gay weddings kind of just for fun? I thought that they weren't actually legal weddings. Is this correct? My drinking team has a skydiving problem

That sucks girl, one thing that you could/could have done was to change the password every month or so to help thwart would be phisher/hackers. Also make sure that a password has a combination of numbers and letters, and avoid using any dictionary word(make words up) because there are programs out there that randomly go through every combination of word/words and numbers in the dictionary. That takes time but a nerdy hacker/phisher has plenty of time on their hands since they have no life or friends. Goo to squaretrade and complain, i don't think you will be held liable. Let me know how it goes. My drinking team has a skydiving problem

Did you have to repeat any AFF levels?
pfloyd replied to daniel52587's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I had to repeat my CAT "C" or level "3" as some call it. But after that my coaches said I was awesome and I completed everything in 6 jumps! ( did my "d" and "E" in 1 jump each) Since I got my own gear now I am waiting till sat. for the packing course!--yay My drinking team has a skydiving problem -
Had to go with GNR Appetite for destruction I really liked it back in 6th grade if you know what I mean. (still do of course) My drinking team has a skydiving problem

My first two jumps were tandems, and the first time was amazing; I will never forget that experience. It just keeps getting better every jump. I hope you have as good of a time as I did. Its cool to think that you and your wife could be jumping together at some point. Blue skies! My drinking team has a skydiving problem -
