I know I'll use it a lot in vegas over new years!!! Hey you! Flash me them boobies okay here are your beads Cameras = Casino security removing you from the premises In most casinos cell phones any place around the gaming area is taboo but in Vegas it rarely matters because the casinos are so big there is no cell reception inside.

Work fine - co-worker has one she uses with T-Mobile. The only issue is T-Mobile's Chicago network isn't that hot. The real question is will you use it past the first 3 weeks?

It is very difficult to decide what is "too luxurious". Should sliced bread be in this catagory or should government aid go towards yeast and flour? Simply tax everything all sales at a set %. If you want to exclude a catagory (medicine, food, clothing) than don't try and decide what within the catagory should be taxed. Abolish the IRS as it is known and don't have the costs associated with processing income taxes. Those with less money would not pay nearly as much tax on food and clothing unless they are eating at Spago and wearing Versace. A 30% tax on basic ingredients is still much cheaper than buying pre-made meals. What this this have to with skydiving ? ? ? ? ? Oh wait, I'm in the random crap forum. -matt

I suppose TV dinners, frozen pizzas, etc. are on this list. A related story - should the poor get organic food? http://www.twincities.com/mld/pioneerpress/news/local/4736738.htm

Hopefully this thread won't disintegrate into a Microsoft lovers vs. haters thread. That being said - One of the reasons that MS Access is good for small businesses is that if you grow to the point you need to upgrade going to MS SQL Server is very easy. All database programs that do more than just be a database (meaning they provide a front end) can be finicky. Some like Access, some don't - I tend to like it. My 2 cents, Matt

An Alti-III. It's smaller and you can get it recalibrated and new glass put in for free or the price of a t-shirt at a lot of boogies.

We met skydiving - my second tandem and her first. Long story short I was new to the city, saw a flyer at the office for a group trip to the dropzone and thought - I did that 3 years ago and met a bunch of people, I'll do it again. Got there and found out nobody else from my work had shown up but got on school bus with 30 strangers (to me scarier than jumping out of a plane). To get 30 tandems up took 10 hours thanks to the rain and 2 1/2 years later we're engaged. The hardest part of the story to believe? I went 3 years between my 1st and 2nd tandem. -mb

Whatever pull-up cord I last used and found in my pocket half-way home when I went to get money for gas/food/etc.

#2 or #4 look the best - more black tends to wear better as well

How long until you can save up for the Pro-Track? I got a Dytter just off student status and 6 months later bought a Pro Track. Since the helmet only takes one, the Dytter mostly collects dust. It's nice to have a backup but I wish I had bought the Pro-Track to start. -mb

Otter for everyday jumping, Casas for fun tailgate exits. Only SkyVan jump was jump #4 so it's kinda tough to compare to a Casa.

I'm jealous. Have fun and be safe.

I made my first 182 jump today. With SDC's Otter's in Eloy and other places it was a bit different. Yes,I know I owe beer but it's too cold to hang out at the DZ and drink it so it will have to wait.

Just remember that the airlines no longer run the security lines. Their policies are secondary to the standardized federal polices. The good news is the same rules now apply to all airlines and airports - while it may take some time for all the employees to know the rules and for Cypress/Rigs to be added to the list you no longer have to worry about a specific airline or airport being more difficult than another.

Harmless - maybe not. But probably not fatal. Hunters occassionaly have lead shot fall on them when they shoot directly over head or lead shot drops from other hunters. Just 2 cents

McAffee software just sent me a unsolicited e-mail (SPAM) asking me to buy their anti-spam product. Yes it was from mcaffee.com with links to purchase of their website and not some 3rd party. Done venting

I know I'm getting old - my roommate bought a PS2 this weekend and I tried one of the games (Tony Hawk 3) and couldn't figure it out because I had no idea of what to do and the instructions were written for a 13 year old's vocabulary. I'm old . . ..

SIM cards in US cell phones ? ? ? Few and far between

Going vice-versa you need a passport to fly - or at least it would be very difficult without. I know that the airlines now want a passport even for Canada/US/Mexico where a driver's license previously sufficed. I called United Airlines prior to a flight to Toronto and was told I had to have a passport to board the plane.
