its sad but true.... i normally make the sign of the cross and throw god and everyone else up there looking over me the peace sign....then grab justins ass

i personally said you hold off on the tunnel till you graduate AFF unless you have a lot alot of money. AFF is a breeze to pass it. I only know a few people who actually had to repeate a level or two. but I say you go to the tunnel after you get your A license and just use your extra money paying for coach jumps...

Mr. Duplessis, Your e-mail was forwarded to me by the Chancellor’s Office. The skydivers that were used on Saturday are former Navy jumpers working for a company called Aerial Adventures out of New York and Virginia. They are not a Virginia Tech skydiving team. They were recommended to us by the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres.

ok so i talked to the powers that be today and since it isnt an official organization yet I have to go talk to another board to get permission to go and reserve and spot and once i get permission then i can go and find a time that is open.. im talking to mike and all about flyers and a day to set up a jump for people if we can get anyone... ill let it be known when its ready and all that good shit
-
I wondered about that because I did see a short video clip of one of them flying the VT flag, and saw him touch down just briefly before it cut off, so I didn't see the entire landing. It was taped. nope not one...the vt flag was the only decent one but he touched and then bam on the ground...not one stood it up. they all came in slow as could be too under half brakes it was a pitiful show... even a couple people that knew i jump came up and asked me today during class if thats how there suppose to land cause it looked bad lol

Landed off??....Let's hear about it!

landed off a while back..... was flying a huge manta and had been flying 220 raiders all day but was renting my gear at the time and they were outa the smaller stuff cause of all the students so i took a manta. turned into the wind and couldnt get back, felt as if i was actually going backwards. so i started to spiral over a clearing in the trees i saw and then came in and didnt like it so i turned off and came in again and did it once more till i liked it alot then halfbraked it in and got the huge rush of the canopy right as i cleared the trees and then just plfed onto the ground. missed a thorn bush by about 3 feet... -
ok so ive tried to get a meeting or response from the people that be to get a club going and its been unsucesful. basically the first thing i was told (i started the lsu motorcycle club and it wasnt close to this hard but this was still the first step)... the first step is to find 5 people that want to join and a faculty advisor.... so I make one....anyone else goes to LSU here?
-
hell they didnt say no they didnt respond to me...so what i did was i went and got the charter rule from when we started the motorcycle club and figured out how to do it and how they cant argue it.. basically we need 5 founding members and a faculty advisor. then we need to write out waivers saying that we wont jump under the name of LSU because of liability reasons...in the end its not really worth it...like for the motorcycle club were LSUMC until we get on our bikes then were just a bunch of students that are riding motorcycles that has ntohign to do with any LSU organized thing... in the end its compleate bullshit
-
i havent updated it ive got more now but the point is that lsu wouldnt even hear me out about talking to them about it..like they wouldnt even give me a meeting about it or anything ya know had it not been me and allowed me to organize it with our DZs crew who can and allowed me to do ground crew i woulda been all over it but its not so much VT im pissed at its LSU because of the fact that they didnt even give me a meeting about it and they wont allow us to start up a club

so I ordered a tony suit with mega booties and leg zippers and swoop cords and everything...I also ordered kelly green, with neon orange grippers and white binding...orange was good white was good green was wrong...not just the wrong shade but the wrong color. They sent me a suit in forest green not kelly green, no you might be saying that well thats close...no thats like odering red and getting pink or ordering brown and getting khaki. I emailed them and they basically told me oh well. They said well thats the only color green we have even though they advertise that they have kelly green. They also felt that it wasnt their responsibility to call me or let me know that they didnt have that color. They then never offered to fix it in anyway. They just said sorry thats the only color and thats it. Also when I got it I was falling damn fast and no it isnt because I had to learn to fly with booties because I had already had a suit with booties. I eventually figured out how to fly it decently but still fall faster then I should be but am now accepting of the color and happy with the suit. Its great quality and strenth and it flies awesome but the color is a big thing when you rig and your canopy is all the say color scheme.
