I had a great experience in so many ways. If I had to pick just ONE favorite part, it would be the sunset balloon jump with my jmfreefly. That was such an awesome experience. I signed a few autographs too. Pretty funny.

I totally agree Chris. There's been a lot of bitching about the covers lately. Of course not everyone is going to like every cover, or agree that it deserves the cover, but thats not our choice. If you want to see something else, take your own pics for submission. Maybe they'll make the cover, maybe not. The pics on the cover were submitted by someone who thought they were good, and selected for publishing by someone that thought they were good. Can't please everyone all the time.

Any tips on packing a brand new Sabre 2?
bkdice replied to darrenspooner's topic in Gear and Rigging
I had my favorite packer pack my brand new sabre2 for the first 30 jumps. I tipped him well for his 'troubles'. Anyway - packing it myself now and taking my time. i use my knees, hands, forearms, and chest / chin to keep it under control the whole time. I do not do all the folds before putting it in the bag. I fold the first half, then get the bag between my legs to keep it under control, while I fold in the rest. Works pretty well. Humidity has been my friend too - so long as my hands don't get sticky. -
thats one HEAVY duty vibrator there kel!!! i prefer the kind that would dent a car, but not crash through a roof. but - whatever does it for you.

when i lost my cat, * i put up signs in a 5 mile radius - and changed the color several times so they would still catch people's attention * i put a flyer on everyones mailbox in all surrounding areas * i spoke to all the neighbors * i ran an ad in the washington post for weeks - and checked the found ads regularly * i put an ad on petfinder.org - and checked the found ads * i contacted all local animal rescue groups (starting with all the ones listed on petfinder.org * i faxed every vets office * i called and paid several visits to surrounding animal shelters * i spent hours upon hours searching, and calling him * i left out items in surrounding areas that had my scent or the scent of his playmates (recommended by the pet detective i corresponded with) * i posted signs at the pet stores * i spoke to a pet psychic the one thing i didn't do, that i wish i had, was get a pet detective physically involved. my cat was never found, and it's been almost a year. i still keep tabs with local rescue groups and shelters, but i have little hope. do everything you can now, and don't give up. in the search for my cat, i heard very many amazing tales of happy reunions. good luck. my heart goes out to you in such a difficult time. bettina

please take time to appreciate the company of a pet...

i couldn't agree with you more. i lost my cat last year. he went missing and was never found despite our best efforts. i took for granted that he was only 8 and had, what i thought, was years ahead of him. i don't know if i'll ever forgive myself for not taking more time for him when he was around, because i thought i had time that i didn't. i have a dog, another cat, and a horse that i do my best to appreciate every day. i could never put into words, all the joy and love animals have brought to my life. -
Well, I also find that a lot of women like to give the impression that they have a large sex drive, but in reality, they are more talk than action. I think there are some of 'those' in every group of girls that says they want it all the time. From what I have read in books, (according to Lou Paget) the more often one has sex or masturbates, the more often they will desire it. I have found truth in that! IMO though, women are more susceptible to losing the drive at times for emotional reasons. However, I think both men and women can have equal sex drives.

I hope to! I will finalize plans after Rantoul - depending on how much $$ we spend there.
